Horrible service! People need to only take their pets there for basic vaccines. My dog became sick with a skin infection when he was 4 months old. Turns out he has mites! We then paid $300 for his medicine that was supposed to cure him! This medicine barely made a dent in the infection, my dog continued to lose hair and itch! We went back to banfield and they told us that he needed more medicine! We then paid another $300 for this and his sickness did not get better only worse. A friend mentioned that her dog had the same thing and he needed to have Mitaban dips (medicated baths) every 2 weeks and he was cured. We asked the vets about this and they ignored our request and said that the oral meds would work we just needed more but they would give me mitaban to rub on his skin to help as well! NEVER did they mention that this is something PREGNANT woman should not handle, I was obviously 9months pregnant! We left that clinic and went to Edgewood vets where we were treated with respect and they agreed that Mitaban dips were needed! Unfortunatley these dips at edgewood are a bit expensive, so we figured since he was already having dips we would try banfield again since it would be cheaper! My husband took him to his appointment where AGAIN they denied us the service we requested! Back to edgewood we go, it may be expensive but at least they will get the job done! Banfield just wants your money! I would NEVER reccomend this clinic to any person who has an animal with an illness!

My cat was very sick, he had gotten fleas, and I knew this is what made him sick, because he was fine untill that point. I had tried using several products, but nothing was working, so I took him to the vet. I told the vet, everything, and how he had only gotten sick when he got the fleas. Before I left the hospital that day, I ended up spending a little over a thousand dollars, for them to tell me, it was fleas making him sick.

I??m a Banfield customer in California. I contacted Sarah at the Federal Way location to schedule a physical for a dog I was adopting. Sarah was prompt and knowledgeable. We worked out the details of the other party who was bringing the dog in for me. Allowed me to pre-pay and faxed the exam report to my home right after the physical. Very pleased everything went as planned and it??s refreshing to organize something from 750 miles way. Thanks!!

This location is among the best of the "chain" animal hospitals I have used. The clerical staff seems a bit gruff, but the actual veterinarians are kind and treated my dog very well. They do seem to care and answered all my questions in easy-to-understand terms. They were helpful in giving me the knowledge to make informed decisions and advised me how I could save money on the services (advised which services I could probably do without). I was impressed by the honesty and the fact that they actually seemed to care for my pet as an individual.
