FPCB is a big church on a first visit, but after going more than once I found it is actually several churches in one. With 4 services you can attend one service with the same people in a smaller community every week. They have 2 Contemporary services and 2 Traditional services.

The church also has and promotes many small groups tailored to every kind of age, interest or Christian experience level. I met wonderful people right from the beginning when I sat down in the front section in the main sanctuary. These people really want you there and miss you when you are not. As a divorced father I felt accepted and not judged by everyone I/we sit near. Everyone greets you with a smile and a hand shake.

They also have a very active local (at the church or in the city of Bellevue) and worldwide (Mexico, Rwanda, India, Africa, Russia, Asia and all over) out reach program that anyone can instantly join in and find a way to serve the community and put your talents to work for the Lord.

I felt fortunate to find this church. It didn't take long to personally know several of the pastors at the church. They are very down to earth loving people. They even remember my name when I run into them. This church is making a huge impact on Bellevue and other parts of the world for God.

The Youth Program at First Presbyterian Church is great and the staff is excellent! They offer a variety of opportunities for the youth and leave a life long lasting impression on them. I would highly recommend going!

First Pres. is a very big church with over 2000 members. There are lots of programs available (classes, groups, etc.) We found the sermons to be thought-provoking, and with seven pastors, there is variety in the preaching as well. The music program is excellent. There are four worship services each Sunday, so you can attend a more contemporary worship service or a more traditional one. The one downside for me was I found it hard to meet people because the church was SO big, and there wasn't the motivation for me to get involved or help with church activities.
