I like buying local and I like receiving a quality installation. I got them both at Airport Welding in Snohmish. They initally installed and B&W turnover ball for my new goose neck horse trailer. Quoted price equalled the installed price; No surprises (I like that). At the same time, I considered having air suspension installed too but Peg suggested we wait and see how the truck performed with the trailer to make sure we weren't spending money we didn't need to (no upsell- I like that). As it turns out, my truck did need the added help of air suspension and Peg and the crew just did that for me too. Highly recommend Airport Welding for any under carriage work.

I went to my motorhome storage to get my motorhome ready for a family vacation but when I started it up, found that someone had stolen my catalytic converter. I had a hard time finding someone that could do it let alone right before a holiday weekend. They got me right in same day and told me I would have it by Friday when we planned to leave. They called that afternoon and it was done same day. The price was great and the work was too. I couldn't be happier and recommend them frequently

I had an aftermarket muffler develop a rattle and was in need of a R&R job. The muffler was purchased online from Doug Thorley and the muffler was covered under warranty. Anyway, I called Airport Welding & Muffler and found the lady on the phone to be friendly. They quoted me "$60 - $80" for a typical muffler R&R job. I made my appointment for 2PM, showed up on time, and was helped quickly. Jeff assessed the work to be done in the parking lot and quoted me $65. I had some special requests such as removal of the negative battery cable and they gladly accommodated my request. The job took about 45 minutes and the charge, with tax, was $70. The thing I like about my first experience at this shop is that it's not a traditional "grumpy mechanic" place. They are pretty friendly in a small town kind of way and the place is busy which is a good sign. Old timers were in and out of there (also a good sign) and talked to me while I sat in the parking lot in the sun. I'll go back.

These guys can fix anything in my opinion. I've taken them projects that seemed impossible and they were able to figure out a way to get the vehicles back in working condition.

Not too pricey, considering I certainly couldn't fix the car/hitch and I couldn't find anyone else willing to.

PROS:
CONS: difficult to get in and out of in the going home traffic time.
