Greenwood Mandarin Restaurant

This is a family favorite. The service is wonderful and you are always greeted with a smile. My children love the house fried rice and the sizzling rice soup. The prices are affordable. I even once called in an order to go and then decided to eat in. We really enjoy this place.

Although we have lived near Greenwood for many years, we never tried it, assuming it would be another disappointment. Having worked in a Chinese restaurant in the past where we had authentic food and homemade noodles, we've found most local places don't live up to our expectations.

When we got an advertisement for Greenwood that they now deliver -- yes, food delivery other than pizza in Bellevue!! - we decided to try it. I called and asked about their noodles and they are homemade! The owner is so pleasant and accomodating and helped us get exactly what we wanted.

We've been thrilled with the food and have been ordering weekly. Last week I picked it up on my way home, and forgot to order something. No problem, they delivered it without complaint.

The noodles are homemade, and so are the potstickers.

I would recommend getting help on ordering if you are unsure of what you will like.

I'm sorry I missed out on so many years of eating at Greenwood!!

I love this place. In previous years, the prices were cheaper but they are still very much affordable. There is no wait for the menu, the service is quick, and the tea is free. This is not the place you should go for a lively environment. For the multiple times I have been there, not many have also been dining. I can only think the reason for this is that it is in a very odd location. Plus, its sign says "chinese food," marketing not a very high class place. Yet it is. The food and the servers are. It has a calm atmosphere and the food, most importantly, is delicious.

A broad menu, combined with prompt service, ability to order most dishes without MSG, decent prices and consistent quality of food has made this my favorite Chinese Resturant. The manager is outgoing and makes all guests feel valued. The quiet dining room makes this a good place for a casual business lunch, or a heart-to-heart talk with friends.
