This is a special treasure hidden in SE Seattle.
There are signs from I-5, so it's not too hard to find.
This is a Seattle Park, and an amazing place. When you get there the Foundation has walking tour brochures for free (donation box, if you like it) then the first thing you see is a lovely entry gate by renowned artist Gerald Tsutakawa and an entry that is warm and inviting. When you enter the garden you're greeted by the work of local landscape artist Fujitaro Kubota and his family that started work on the 20 acres of garden in 1927 (40 acres with greenbelt). They call it an "American-Japanese" garden, because it's a blended garden. It's a must see!
