This was less like a craft brewpub and more like an Applebee's. It's been a long time since I've had service this poor. On our latest visit to Seattle, we had a few spare hours on a Friday afternoon and decided to spend them at the Pyramid Brewery. It was not a game day, but we were not the only customers, either. We ordered beer and snacks. The food was pretty good, and the beer was great. About halfway through the first beer, my husband accidentally knocked his glass off the table and broke it. Our waiter rolled his eyes, brought a broom, and sighed loudly about the extra work. We apologized several times but were not acknowledged. Another woman who came over to help was pleasant and friendly. After cleaning up the glass, our server picked up the plate that still had food on it without asking whether we were finished (we weren't), dropped the check on our table, and walked away. We called him back and asked if we could have another beer, since my husband had only enjoyed half of his before the accident. He eventually brought back the beer and the updated check, again without a word. At least the second beer qualified for happy hour pricing.

If you are looking for a place for a quick drink before or after a game, this will quench your thirst. If you want to enjoy a relaxing afternoon or evening drinking good beer in a pleasant atmosphere, look elsewhere.

Service was good and the food was tasty. We didn't have a full dinner, but a quick bite and it was more than enough. The beer selection was great, and their self-brews were all worth tasting. Cool atmosphere. Worth visiting if your touring the area.

We went to have a couple of drinks and grab a bite to eat at Pyramid breweries before a Mariners game one night. We got there really early so we were able to get a table, but the closer it got to the game the more crowded it got. I mean REALLY crowded. The food was awesome and the drinks were too, even though the bill was much higher than expected.

PROS: Good food, good beer
CONS: way too crowded, expensive

Since this is right across the street from Safeco Field where the Mariners play, it's a major haunt of Mariner fans looking to pregame. Parking on game days is impossible--well, that's a lie, but it will set you back $45 (!!!)--but it is beyond crowded. Think standing room only, drinking out of paper cups, and paying $5+ for the privilege. On non-game days, it's a lot better, but I think the beer here is on par with Budweiser and the rest of the domestics. With so many truly great pubs and breweries in Seattle, don't waste your time on this one.
