Not only is the academic condition of this school in sad shape, but the environment is terrible for anyone, especially youth!

While my child attended, drugs, violence, and on campus sex was rampant. When I called to notify the principle of the name and location of a drug dealer who was dealing marajuana on campus, I was told he knew about it already and couldn't (meaning didn't want to) do anything about it. Not sure why calling campus security or city police didn't come to mind!

In addition, the teaching staff, with few exceptions, was terribly unconcerned, unattached, and unequipped to do their job!

The environment is what it is not only due to lack of staff intervention, but because the students thrive on it being that way. Most of the students are not the peers I wanted my child hanging out with, and disrespect for students and teachers abounds.

If you can possibly do anything different, do it! I immediatly transferred my daughter, and haven't regretted it once!

PROS: none
CONS: EVERYTHING!
