.

The Northwest Railway Museum offers a round trip train ride with views of Snoqualmie Falls. The train ride itself is only 25 minutes and you spend a LOT of time pulling out of the depot and sitting at the falls. The trip itself ends up being disappointingly short. The actual museum information is not that interesting. If you have children who love trains try to attend one of their special events like Thomas the Tank Engine or the Santa Train. At least that way there will be other events happening at the depot.

.

This musuem has a nice display of local train operation history, plus a couple of vintage diesels and other train cars, including a snowplow, a mobile army hospital car, some logging cars and others. The museum also runs a fun ride (using vintage diesels and carriages, of course) to North Bend or Snoqualmie Falls. Gift shop is a delight to a train fan's heart. I am also able to find coupons from local visitor centers or discount card, that offer buy one get one free deal on train ride.

Parents should also watch out for the annual Thomas train ride hosted by this museum.
