Rude service. Apparently high prices and quality food don't go hand in hand. Keep driving. Try the Crabhouse or Bushwhacker.

Recently we were traveling through the area and after viewing lots of reviews, we decided on this restaurant for dinner. I called ahead and made reservations. When I asked about dress, she said as long as we came in clothing we would be fine. It looked like the locals eating there were dressed a little nicer attire. Live piano music was playing when we came in, which was nice, considering we had to wait a few minutes before someone greeted us. Upon being seated there were gorgeous, huge flowers at our table. I was told all the tables' flowers came from their garden out back. Our family ordered crab cakes for appetizers and they were served with a sweet cherry dipping sauce that was amazing! They also served a mango honey butter with the table bread. My pre-dinner salad was filled with all sorts of goodies such as garbonzo beans and their special cinnamon carrot sticks (yes, you read that correctly!) Very delicious! I ordered spaghetti for my entree and the sauce was sweeter than your average sauce, a nice surprise. Everyone was very pleased with their entrees as well. Two of them had gotten their fish specials. We will definitely go back the next time we are in the area!

My husband and I had dinner here one night last year for our anniversary. The atmosphere was eclectic and full of personality. Their cioppino was the best I've ever had! A great place for a romantic getaway.

Driving by this place, it doesn?t look like much. An old log home with the logs painted yellow and cars parked everywhere. Going inside, you?ll find lots of antiques decorating the tables and walls. The lighting is soft and the night I went, a piano player played and sang. I had the Ciappino and was very happy with it. I was camping at the KOA and didn?t want to pay for my kids to eat food here that they wouldn?t like so I got it to go. They were very accomodating. The ciappino contained salmon, some kind of white fish, prawns, mussels, scallops, clams, a cracked crab leg all swimming in a sllighly spicy tomato broth. It was very delicious. It came with a slab of toasted garlic bread for mopping up the sauce, I could have used twice the bread. The only drawback in the dish was it contained two mussels (my favorite shellfish) and botjh had failed to open. If I?d stayed to eat it at the restaraunt, I?d have notified the waitress. Since I got it to go, I was stuck without mussels. The salad that accompanied the meal with great. Mixed greens topped with thinnley sliced red onion, olives, grape tomatoes (sliced in half to make it easier to eat), kidney and garbanzo beans, red and green bell pepper, green and yellow zuchini, blanched broccoli and cauliflower, and an amazing spear of carrot which tasted pickeled with a touch of cinnamon. It was an outstanding salad! For dessert, I had the chocolate rush cake. Two layers of flourless chocolate cake with whipped chocolate mousse between the layers. Thinly frosted with more of the mousse and then enrobed in chocoalte ganache. The chocolates used must have been great quality because the flavor was amazing! I also grabbed a bag of chocolate covered caramels which I?ve been enjoying. The caramel is very tasty and the dark chocolate is an excellent counterpoint to the sweet, buttery caramel. I will definately be back here the next time I?m in t he area!

This resturant has the greatest atmosphere for romantic gatherings, special occasions. Food is excellent, and plentiful, and very reasonable in price. Drinks are more than average, and just anything imaginable can be made. Deserts are homemade and out of this world, if there's enough room to eat from all the food eaten, but take home is available, and recommended for this special treat.
