Tai-Ho Restaurant

Conveniently located on Bothell Way in Kenmore. Decent food. Can be crowded and somewhat noisy. Make sure you don't get the seat by the door. Maybe next time my visit will be better.

I have been eating in this place for nearly twenty years, long before the current attractive building was put up. The former place was fairly ratty, and we would often get our food to take out. Now the food and the surroundings are a good match.

I am sure they have many other fine dishes, but I never seem to get past their signature Tai Ho noodles, especially when I go there for lunch. Their noodles are hand made and the same care is put into spicing the broth that accompanies them, which is just a little peppery.

Beer and wine are available, and the place is open until quite late, so it is also a great spot for a late night snack, when you want something good but not too heavy.

Service can be just a little iffy. When it is good, you are lucky; when you aren't so lucky, you can wonder if they remember you are there. To be fair, that has not happened to me often, but quick service is not reliable.

PROS: Very nice noodles, good variety, wine and beer, convenient hours
CONS: Occasionally slow service

It's always a good thing when you can see the cooks making the food. At this restaurant, you can see them making the noodles, which are just about the best noodles I've ever had. This resaurant has been one of my family's favorites for a long time. We've been coming for years because the food is so tasty and the service is quick and excellent! I tell all my friends to try this place out.

Tai-Ho is well known in the surrounding Bothell-Kenmore-Seattle area not only because how many times they've appeared in the newspapers for they're noodles. But also because the locals love the food, lunch prices, quanity of food and service. They've also recently remodeled the restaurant for more room now only if they had more parking spaces. A+
