Tired of renting from these people, the woman who works the phones and office is rude to me everytime so I gave up and have my girlfriend call in so we'll have more of a chance to get repairs made etc. we just moved out of some apartments and into a house awhile back and the house was horrible, we had to replace the kitchen and bathroom floor ourself, and it took months to get a roofing company in to fix the roof that leaked into mulitple spots in the house, the seperate building (which we pay for) has a horrible roof and I know I can grab one side of it (which is a garage) and pull the entire side off of the building because it isnt attached, we asked if some of the things could be repaired and were told "no, we dont want to put any money into these houses, vincent penta is planning on knocking them all down in the next ten years and selling the lots for commercial use anyway" thats nice to hear from your landlords, so I agree with the slumlord comment, we also had a tree cut down in the backyard when we moved in, all of the wood sat in my backyard scattered all over the place all winter and just recently someone was sent to chop the wood up, which he stacked, in the middle of my yard, and only comes back once a week to take an armful for himself and leaves the rest sitting there. He actually blocked my car (which was pushed up to the backdoor of the house so I could run a battery charger to it overnight) with the wall of wood he chopped then amazingly we got a "remove your car or be evicted" notice...which I COULDNT MOVE THE CAR because he blocked it in, SO I had to restack hundreds of pounds of chopped wood Im not even allowed to use just so I could move my car to avoid eviction.. this is RIDICULOUS, I cannot wait to get out from under the finger of this company

I lived in an townhouse at the Clearview Village, which is owned and ran by APR and one of there houses. I never had any problems. Leesa and all the office staff was always friendly and the repair people efficient. It is state law that a tenant must be given 48 hours before anyone can come and look at a residence, and I know as a renter that is moving, I was not jazzed up when my previous landlord had people I didn't know in a house with my things. All said and done, I got my entire Deposit back both times.

I am a professional who lives in Portland and works in Longview. I decided to move to Longview, as the driving is too much. The first property management company I called to look into a place to live was this company, Apr Inc.

The woman who I spoke to (Leesa - who said she was the office manager), was one of the rudest persons I have ever encountered. She was upset because I asked to view the inside of a house that was for rent and the tenants are still inside (for a couple more weeks). She kept telling me (in a very rude manner while hemming and hawing)that she would have to give them a 48 hour notice before I could view it. No, she did not say this in a nice way and she kept asking me to do miscellaneous things (before she would give the 48 hr. notice) to do her best to put me off just so she didn't have to tell the tenants (she even explained it as "Before I have to bug these people I want to know that you are serious and not wasting my time"). Is this woman for real?

Clearly, she was the one wasting my time. It got so bad that it just seemed like she was trying to put me off, because she had someone else she knew that wanted to rent it. All that said, I would never rent from someone so rude! Just think, if this is how she is acting now, how will she act if something needs fixed in the place!

This woman needs a new job. she obviously doesn't know the first thing about finding and keeping good clients. I told her enough information about where I work and what I want in a place to live, she could have basically told me of a place they had available or that was coming up that I might like. Instead, she blew it with her laziness and horrible attitude. Good luck Leesa and Apr Inc. in Longview. I am going with a different company.

APR is ran by one of the most heartless, rude, better than attitude person I have ever met. She is so cruel contacting her to have her deal with problems is more intimidating than a run in with a rattle snake. I have never had a bad experince with landlords, always have had perfect rental history, yet everything seemed to be my fault with APR...the problem is they define slum-lords they dont fix things, have slow responce time if they do come then it is just a patch job. and good luck getting any money back from them trust me no matter what you will ALWAYS end up owing them

The girl who does the rentals is on the "short/rude" side of customer relations. They rented me a house with a year's lease, that was for sale, but did not disclose that fact. After two and a half months of renting, I got a 20 day notice to vacate, due to the house selling. I am a single mom without financial means or a vehicle. This was a HUGE struggle. RENTER BEWARE! The girl who handled the rental told me smuggly, "all of our rentals are for sale"!!! The ONLY reason I gave them a 2-Star is because I did get all of my deposits back; tho how much damage could have I done in that short of time.

PROS: Good with deposit return.
CONS: ALL HOUSES FOR RENT ARE FOR SALE, and they only give you 20 days to get out
