We love our YMCA membership and this facility is outstanding! They have an incredible pool area! There is a water slide for the kids (they have to pass a swimming test first), and a shallow pool for the smaller kids that has an adjustable bottom. Certain times will be certain depths so you can take your infant and they will feel like they are in the tub...and yes, the water is real warm! I also like their classes. They have complimentary child care while you are there which is an added bonus. There is a room for infants to age 5, and another for 6-12. The prices are reasonable for a family membership, as long as you're consistent about using it.

The Auburn Y is fairly new, very clean, and quite large. They offer a wide variety of classes for all ages, including activities for families. My son took some beginning swimming lessons there and I was pleased with the locker room, pool, and the instructor. When we were signing up everyone was very friendly. There is plenty of parking.

YMCA is one of the best places to go to spend time with your family and work on staying healthy too. They have a pool, excersize equiptment and lots of stuff to do with your kids. The place is nice and taken care of and the people are great. There is a members fee too but it is not horrible. It is a great place to spend time.
