23rd Street Interiors had put a quote together for cabinets that I purchased from them. The only time that I saw them was when they came to make the sale. I would never recommend working with them. I have worked with a lot of different contractors and design firms and have never encountered people that do not take the time to come out to the job to review the work of the subcontractors they hired (which was poor and did not even follow industry standards), and do not come out to work with the customer on solving the problems. The only thing the owner cared about was getting his money even though the job they did was inferior and quality was poor. They refused to stand behind their work and replace the product that the installer damaged unless they were paid more money, even though more than 80% of what was owed to them was paid.

If you want to have a partnership, get good quality work and have a good experience with an interior design firm then 23rd street interiors is not the place to go.

We have purchased Granite Tile counters, almost all of our paint, a light fixture, glass tile back splash, porcelain tile for both bathrooms and laminate for a kids counter top. My experiences with 23rd Street Interiors has been amazing! Nicole, my designer, has spent multiple hours with me and for me pulling colors and designs. She gives an honest opinion and does an amazing job of finding my taste and style and exceeding my expectations. The prices were outstanding I have spent less than $3000.00 for all of these. The granite tile counters look stunning and the installer was extremely respectful of our new hardwood floor. The installer, Scott, was efficient, meticulous and did the job to perfection. I can not even stop telling everyone how great they were to me and how they took care of me. We tried Philosophy,a stunning paint in the perfect shades and tones and it goes way farther than anything else we have used and covers better. 23rd Street Interiors did an amazing job and I will recommend them to anyone inexperienced or experienced. They will treat you with respect and going the extra mile is standard for them.

If you don't mind spending tens of thousands of dollars, and then being treated like an inconvenience or a nuisance, then you might be okay with this run-of-the-mill home dec outlet. But if you would like to be treated with respect, and expect a business to stand behind what they sell, then stay away!!! I purchased a house full of tile, carpet, vinyl and countertops from this place and was treated so badly I was in tears. (I've been through several remodeling projects and have always been extremely happy; I'm definitely not a high maintenance customer!)
The carpet we got from them two years ago is already shot, and the seams are coming apart. The owner, Cecil, has stood us up for not one, not two, but FOUR appointments we scheduled with him to take a look at it and see what the problem is. He just plain DID NOT SHOW UP!!! No phone calls , apologies or rescheduling - he was incredibly rude about the whole thing. The funny thing is, I dont think that we even got the carpet we ordered and paid for; I think what was installed in our home by 23rd Street Interiors is something of inferior quality.
The tile installer also gouged a huge scratch in my wood floors (from tile shards imbedded in his shoes), and the "customer service" people at 23rd Street Interiors accused me of "just trying to get a new floor." No, I just wanted the floor scratch fixed!! The woman who sold everything to me, Terri, was also extremely rude once the sale was made. When the tile installer knocked out the electricity to the outlets on one side of my house, her reply to me was "Well NOW what are you accusing us of?!"
I cannot say enough against this company - particularly the owner, Cecil Jevons.
