5 Stars: My own small town diner (by Jennifer H.)

The blue bird is becoming my favorite place to eat lunch. The waiters and waitresses make it enjoyable and always remember you. Making it feel like your in a small town cafe (which you are)

The food is great too!

4 Stars: Not going anywhere!! (by Carolyn G.)

We stopped at Blue Bird for lunch this summer, and realize why it's been operating for so long in Arlington. The cafe atmosphere is hard to find anywhere anymore, and the food is not churned out in a Denny's style kitchen - menu selections are well varied and the employees pleasant.

3 Stars: Consistent (by T B.)

The best word for the Blue Bird is Consistent. How many times do you go back to a restaurant after months or years, hoping to order your old favorite meal, and when it arrives at your table and you take a bite, it's disappointing? You will not have that experience at the Blue Bird.

You aren't going to get the best meal of your life, but it's decent food and it's going to taste like you remember it. I've now moved away from Arllington, but when I am able to return, I visit the Blue Bird for a meal... and it's consistently what I remember and was wanting.

4 Stars: Home town goodness (by M. S.)

The Bluebird Cafe has some of the best home-style meals around. Try the biscuits and gravy, the #2 or the eggs benedict for breakfast (I have heard the hash is good too, just not my favorite).

Try a club sandwich, french dip, ANY of the homemade soups or one of the tasty burgers for lunch.

Dinner is where the dining is completely different than previously named chain restaurants. The meals for dinner are HUGE, and yes you pay for the quantity. But a dinner that comes with a *free* small dessert has gone the way of the model-t and it is still a highly regarded part of the meal at the Bluebird! And worth the few extra pennies compared to Denny's!!

5 Stars: Reason we moved here (by Kristin H.)

The Blue Bird is one reason we moved to Arlington. We lived in Marysville, and drove up to Arlington once a month for breakfast at the Blue Bird-it helped us fall in love with the town-now we are here to stay. Yes, it is a place for "regulars"-that's what we love about it. They know what we want when we walk in...including our 4 kids!

2 Stars: Arlington's old standby. (by Susan S.)

I frankly can't believe anyone would take the time to review the Blue Bird. It's been around forever although the food is platable its not outstanding. In the long run for a cheaper larger amount of food Denn'ys is just as good if not better.
I've also noticed that the Bluebird is one of those places with a small town mentality. When you walk in everyone stares. At least at Denny's you can blend into the crowd eat your very large inexpensive plate of food and get out with out a soul noticing you. The waitresses are not very friendly unless of course your one of the regulars. I really think that one of the only reasons they have been in business so long is because they have been one of the only restaurants in town and because they have a bathroom open to the public.

4 Stars: chefs salad!!! (by s. y.)

I stop by now and again for salads mainly. They make a great chef salad. If you can not eat a whole one they give the option for a half which is plenty for me even when I am very very hungry. I have heard that there other food is good also, I have just never strayed away from the salads. If it ain't broke don't fix it, right? Well it is low price for good quality.
