The best place around for frozen goodness. We were extremely impressed with the concretes. Yum!

The frozen custard is good BUT we recently went through the drive-through and when we got our cones they were half the size of what they have been since we've been going there for the last two years.
When I asked why they were so incredibly small (and bear in mind that this place is not exactly CHEAP!) the girl told us that they had been being "FAR too generous" in the past and their customers had been "getting away with" more than they had actually paid for.
What the...?!?

So fast forward a month;
They put out a coupon that said ;
"Buy one menu item and get second of equal or lesser value free".
That's ALL it said.

When we went to buy two sundaes they said that they could not honor the coupon unless we were purchasing the take-home "concrete".

When I showed the girl the coupon and pointed out that it said nothing about any specific product but simply said "Buy one menu item and get second of equal or lesser value free" she shrugged and said "I know...a lot of people get mad but that's just how it is."

What a clip joint! I hope they enjoy closing their doors when the economy hits them.

But oh wait...maybe they'll go back to being "FAR too generous" in order to save their butts.

Sheridan's is a fun place to go, the custard is outstanding, and the atmosphere is great. Especially at night, the bright lights and outdoor congregating crowds make a fun event for the whole family. What a treat, especially during the summer!

Sheridan's Frozen Custard is new to the Northwest. Unlike frozen yogurt or ice cream, custard has a taste all its own.
Sheridan's is a takeout place only with a few benches for sitting. The drive-thru seems to be very popular. The night we were there recently had about 4 cars lined up.
They serve a variety of "Concretes" which I can describe only as a glorified "Blizzard". You even have the opportunity of create your own Concrete.

Everything at Sheridan's is terrific and tastes like heaven. Creamy, fattening heaven, but I try not to think about that. Prices are kind of high--$5 for a one man dessert--but it's worth it. I'm not sure I can tell the difference between ice cream and frozen custard (indeed, there may not be a difference) but this stuff is good. This isn't a restaurant, though. There's nowhere to sit, not even a picnic table outside. The lines get long, especially in the summer, but it's worth the wait.

PROS: Good desserts
CONS: Nowhere to sit
