Waste Connections-Washington

Waste Connections is the only waste service option we have and unfortunately they don't specialize in good customer service and continue to charge you a fee for the yard debris container during the winter months when it isn't used. If your waste receptacle's happen make it back on your curb instead of your neighbors, you are lucky.

You are unable to chose what service you want in Portland, I would not recommend them. They can't seem to get your can back on the curb and even put it behind your car sometimes!

I moved 5 months ago and from the start have had problems with this company. First, they didn't tell us that there was a community collection area - how were we supposed to know to pick up and drop off our cans almost 2 miles from our house?! Second, every time I called to get things straightened out I got another customer service agent on the line who was extremely rude and argued with me. There was one lady who I finally talked to who was pleasant - but she seems to be the only one there as I've had to call several more times in the 5 months we've been here. In that time our garbage has not been picked up 3 times and once our recycling. Last month they cancelled garbage and recycling because of the snow then didn't want to credit us! It's their fault the didn't service us and they want to penalize us. They definitely don't have a customer friendly attitude.

We have never seemed to have a problem with waste management. They do their job wonderfully and on time. They pick up everything that we put out and we don't get excesive charges on our bill.
