After being a mechanic myself for many years now I have to laugh when I read some of these reviews. If you take your boat somewhere for ROUTINE service on a regular basis then you build a relationship with that company. Along with that relationship comes respect, you respect the company for doing good work, they respect you for your continued trust in them for service. If you take your boat in for OH MY GOD ITS BROKE AND I NEED IT FIXED NOW BECAUSE I DON'T DO ANY MAINTENANCE then you will get to wait. NO shop in the world will put other good customers that have been in line on hold so they can work on your "turd" boat that needs emergency repairs. Regular maintenance is the key folks, and the techs at Boatland have always kept me running year round so I don't miss precious time when I need my boat. Anyone looking for great people to build a lifetime relationship with then look no further. Call them today and schedule an appointment for service so none of the Springers get away! I am one of the many customers they have that don't have to wait for our ROUTINE MAINTENANCE!

Had never done business with Pacific Boatland until last week. I needed a new motor installed on my boat as soon as possible. I had called everywhere and kept hearing 2 weeks out. Got a hold of Chris in sales at Pacific Boatland and he told me he had the motor in stock and might be able to do it in one day. So I decided to give them a try. Despite not having a part in stock needed they took the time to call around and have one over nited so I would not have to wait. I dropped my boat off the evening before and much to my surprise received a phone call at 1 O'clock the next day that my boat would be done today. Great service, the mechanics came out and showed me everything they did, Chris took the time to take me to the water to test the new motor. I use my boat 300 days a year for my work so down time costs me a lot of money. Pacific Boatland went over and beyond my expectations and I will definitely use them again.

Back in 2002 I was working with a salesman to purchase a Four Winns for almost 6 months to get "just the right one". We finally worked out a deal and I went to purchase it with my check book in hand and the price changed dramatically higher. I ended up purchasing a Four Winns (which I still have and love) somewhere else.

2008 I went there to get a drain plug for my cooler. They said they would order it and call me. I never heard from them.

I have always had it serviced at Riverside Marine (who has been great!). Fast forward to 2010. I was going to change the oil in it myself this year for the first time. I reluctantly went to Pacific Boatland for the factory parts. After getting the oil out I realized they had sold me the wrong size oil filter and the incorrect oil grade as directed in the owners manual. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

This place isn't too bad if you are just getting some regular maintenance done on your boat or engine. Unfortunately, it isn't located very close to the water. So, you have to drive your boat to a launch to check out the work.

The folks over at Pacific Boatland are the best. The employees care about there customers, and I always receive friendly and attentive service. They show a genuine care and concern, and they do not deserve the poor rating previously written on here. They are great!!

When did the internet become a place to bash honest companies trying to make a living? I cant believe the last two reviews of this company. I have dealt with them for 11 years and have never had a problem that was not address quickly and fairly. They have always gone the extra mile for me. For example, just recently I had a trip planned to go to the Tri-Cities for a family camping trip with 19 relatives and I have the only boat. I went to pick up my boat from lake merwin and prepare for the 4 hour drive. The boat would not start. In a panic, I immediately called pacific boatland (Sat morning). They ask me some questions and we tried a few things over the phone. Nothing worked. I took the boat to them and they called a technician in just to work on my boat. He assessed the problem, installed a new fuel pump and they had me on my way in less than two hours. The boat ran perfectly. This is a company that cares about their customers, and two sour grapes reviews should not deter anyone from doing business with them. The many happy customers dont take the time to do reviews, but the unhappy few will tell everyone their story.

As in the last review I found them very slow and hard to communicate with. After buying a boat from them they did not stand behind what they told me. They are unethical, period. I highly recommend not doing business with them, but if you must I would have a lawyer review all documents.

Took my boat in for estimate and repair. They had the boat for almost two months before we were finally able to pull an estimate out of them. The estimate was too high. We may have had them do the repair despite the price had there been better communication and had the estimate been turned out sooner. Maybe it was because it was last Summer and they were too busy, but it would've been nice if someone would've said that two months earlier so that we could've taken the boat elsewhere. I can only imagine what a nightmare it would've been had we left them the boat. We would probably still be waiting.
