Beal, Louisa, Dvm - Sumner Veterinary Hospital

I brought some kittens I found abandoned. The vet had said they were 10 days old. I had felt guilty about leaving them, so I came back and got them. By the time I got home roughly 30 minutes the first kitten died. Then As I had given the 2nd feeding another had died. I thought it was my fault. Since I wanted the last 2 to live I brought them to a different vet. They said they had gotten Parvo from Sumner, and after reading other reviews apparently other animals have it too. DO NOT bring your pet here or abandoned animals. I ended up having to put the last two too sleep. I am just happy I gave them all the love in the world before departing. So if you want your animal to live don't bring them to Sumner.

Don't take your pet here for emergancy help< They jack the Price and demand payment upfront during an emergancy at 1 am they what all the money now. I took my dog in She died befor I could get back from the bank. 4500.dollars at 1 in the morning or your dog dies.Looks like greed to me Kathy maided name Outlaw,she lives up to it

Do you want to be ripped off? Go to Sumner Vet. I have been a customer for 10+ years because of convenient location, nice staff and good care, but have had enough. They take advantage of customers and are dishonest in their calls about updating on cost. No matter what you sign or what they call to update, you will hit the higher cost. And they will call mutiple family members with costs and not explain it is additional on top of other costs. Since Sumner Vet moved to the new larger facility their business mission seems to be "charge the customer as much as possible!" or "never charge under max quote - if you're under....add things to the bill!" We have had 6 dogs through this vet and received multiple un-necessary recommendations to for procedures and surgeries since they moved. What inspires me to actually make a comment now is their dis-honesty in a recent emergency situation. While I cannot complain about the care becasue the vets and staff are nice and seem competent, I truly believe that Sumner Vet is a money pit and they will take advantage of customers financially if they can. Please beware.

I have been taking our dog to the Sumner Vet Hospital for her check ups and shots for the last 2 years and they have always been very nice, the boarding there is awesome as well. They have taken the best care of our dog!!!

We have been bringing our dogs and cats to Sumner Vet Hospital for the last 12 years. Starting at their small office to their new huge facility, they still treat you like a small town business, with love and care.
Our dogs love going on vacation there,they can't wait to go back.

Medical Service, doggie daycare, overnight lodging and a training program and facility

This Vet is so nice looking inside and the people are nice also. They have grooming, boarding (cheap 13.00 and day for like under 49 pounds) We used it and our dog will go back again. They also have doggie daycare. Also they opend up some training place across the parking lot. I have not used this but it is huge.
