Located in the city's vibrant core, the AAA Four Diamond award-winning Sheraton Seattle Hotel is a gateway to all the sights, sounds and experiences of the fabulous Pacific Northwest. The best of Seattle is just outside our front doors ? from exciting nightlife, gourmet restaurants, world-class shopping and of course, the heart of the financial and business district. The hotel is conveniently situated nearby historic Pike Place Market, the Seattle Art Museum, the Space Needle, Experience Music Project and other exciting attractions. See a show at the Fifth Avenue Theater or the Paramount Theater. Experience the opera or ballet at McCaw Hall. Enjoy the Seattle Symphony at Benaroya Hall. Settle into the inviting comfort of one of our 1258 guest rooms, offering inspiring views of the city and enjoy our private art collections featured in the lobby.
With easy highway access, the Sheraton provided us with a good sized room that was clean and comfortable and quiet. If you plan to do any shopping, this is a great location. Also, there are nice restaurants nearby. There is valet parking only, so be prepared to wait if you are coming or going during peak hours.

Hotel is located in the heart of Seattle. It is a beautiful structure, lots of ambiance and atmosphere. I have been there for numerous occassions. One thing, I don't care much for the food. I am vegetarian and I can never seem to get anything that I love....in this day and age with more and more people eating meat free I would love to see them improve their choices for us non meat eaters.

This hotel is gorgeous also! I wish we could afford to stay here more often. It's kept very clean and it's close to a little bit of everything. Don't need a car-just come stay and walk to everything!

Two hard to please, 40+, hard working women who hardly get together decided to have a luscious spa weekend in downtown Seattle (we're native to Seattle but hardly have time to spend relaxing and enjoying downtown Seattle). We were delighted at the Sheraton's offerings - with their scrumptious beds piled high with and variety of lavish pillows. The hotel is two blocks from our chosen spa (GJ), and shopping available every direction, with quiet and luxury rooms to hide out in and watch a really good flat screen t.v. We found that it gets a little crowded when a convention is going on next door at the convention center - but just in the lobby and on the elevators. Sunday paper is delivered to your door. Outstanding gourmet supermarket tucked away 1423 Third Avenue, as well as Pike Place Market. Thank you Sheraton for a great place for two girls to reconnect and relax and feel like REAL women again. This hotel gets high rating for being so clean, our room on the 20th floor had a decent view, good service, near everything - total thumb's up even when you factor in a rather late room service.
Pros: Clean, Great Location, Luxury
Cons: Right next to Convention Center

Location is tops. It's close to shopping and food choices. Nice hotel, friendly staff, though it was no nicer than the 3-star Renaissance nearby. Please avoid this hotel if you're driving, unless you like paying exorbitant parking rates. Parking is valet-only at $35 per night in addition to another $35 per night for the actual parking. So you're paying $70 per night parking, which is exorbitant even if you're wealthy.
Pros: great location
Cons: parking costs way too much at $75 / night

Starting at the valet, every staff person was helful and curteous. The room was nicely appointed. I particularly appreciated the business center where there weren't any addition fees. Central location allowed us to walk downtown, leaving the car at the hotel. Shopping, dining, entertainment, and central location all benefits.
Cons: Valet parking is a bit expensive

We didn't stay at the hotel but walked over to have Sunday brunch before the Seahawks game and found the brunch buffet to be very expensive....$22.50 per person. There was a nice selection but some of the "hot" items were just lukewarm. Not bad but I think for the price it should have been better. They were very busy and the service was a bit uneven. We were seated and served coffee fairly quickly but waited quite a while for our bill.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Sheraton Seattle both before and after our cruise to the Inside Passage. The staff here was wonderfully accommodating...especially since we arrived 5 hours later than expected the first night. We updated them as we were able regarding our arrival and they amazingly did not give away our room. It was more than "nice" to know that I was able to lay down in a bed at 3am instead of having to hunt down another hotel room in the city. The rooms are comfortably furnished, although the beds are a little too firm for my taste. Our rooms were very quiet despite it's location in the heart of downtown. Both of our rooms were adorned with images or lithos of Dale Chihuly's hot glass art...something I appreciated as I admire his work greatly. I would definitely recommend the Sheraton if you're looking for a downtown hotel close to all sorts of shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Cons: Parking is non-existent

I've stayed at the Seattle Sheraton a couple of times. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They show little wear. The hotel is well suited for family or business travel. The hotel location is excellent, centrally located in downtown Seattle.
Major construction just started this spring and is scheduled to be done in 2007. 400 rooms are being added in a new tower being built next to the existing tower. According to the hotel staff, this will make the Sheraton the largest hotel in Seattle.
Parking is problematic. All self-parking at the hotel is gone, it's all valet, at $28.00 bucks a day. No additional parking is being added for the expansion, so once complete, parking could be a major headache.
Pros: super location, excellent staff
Cons: can be pricey

Stayed there recently on a cash and points booling ( It's good value if you can get this deal).
Used street parking, phone calls expensive, did'nt eat in restaurants, paid for room internet access, maid service good, check-in friendly, location excellent, airport coach stops front of hotel
Pros: location
Cons: crowded lobby, impersonal, extras cost

After the guestroom renovation the Sheraton is my favorite place to stay in downtown Seattle. It is close to everything and the rooms are wonderful! The service is fabulous too! I would recommend this hotel for any out of town guest. The new Sweet Sleeper beds are great...better than the Heavenly bed at the Westin!
Pros: sweet sleeper bed, service, location

I went there and was shocked I thought that it would be another bad Hotel that I went to but when I got there I was really surprised at what I saw.
Pros: nice food, nice service
Cons: semi expensive, everything cost money

Service: better than expected. Our coffee pot was cracked. We called for a new one, they appoligized, and offered us chocolates or a $15 credit on our room. This was thier offer (in addition to a new pot brought up), no haggling or drama. Just good service.
Rooms: These rooms were re-done in 11/2002. I was a little cautious after reading another review on Citysearch, but they reviewed the rooms before they were redone.
Great location, clean hotel, great service, very good value (I got on Hotwire).
Pros: Location, Service promise, larger than usual rm.
Cons: none...
