Took my car in for the 90K service running-they returned a car that was not running. The forgot to flush my radiator which was caught by the new mechanic I found due to my horrible experience with Brian Ford. They finally fixed my car so it ran again but only after I insisted.

After reading the other reviews on this site, it looks like Brien Ford is a pretty good company. I have had my Mitsubishi serviced here for several years, and on more than one occasion I have left with a (gut) feeling that something was wrong, like I had been taken advantage of. But now I am done! I had three serious problems here.
1. The last problem I had was getting a routine break job. The service guy said it would cost $199 + tax/fees. When I went to pick up my car, the girl at the counter handed me the invoice for well over $400. When I asked why it cost so much more, the girl got Jeff (the service guy), who very quickly said "Oh that is a mistake." He changed the price back to what it should have been (+ some outrageous environmental charges). If I hadn't said anything or did not know better, I would have paid double for this. Sounds like attempted theft to me. I had two other equally serious experiences here that when added altogether, leave a very bitter taste in my mouth. It is a little hard to believe that the reviews are as good as they look. I will never go back here.

Salesman, Brad, was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. I will recommend him anytime. Finance was fast and to the point...the way I like it. Keep up the good work. I will recommend Brien Ford to my friends!

Paul Wilbur was a great Sales man. He answered every question asked. Very nice. He also let me test drive two Fusions and sat down and ran the numbers with me over car payments.

I was very impressed by the overall atmosphere of the dealership. Very friendly. I think this page of theirs tells the story more accurately:

They were eager to help without being pushy. They let us drive the car by ourselves that we test drove. we didn't buy it and felt unpressured, but they did try to work with us and find something we could afford.

Great service department. They took care of an on going brake problem. I was frustrated at first but they stuck with it and got it done in a hurry for me.

i wish i would have read the review of this place prior to them "repairing" my truck. brien ford collision center IS NOT part of brien ford, don't be fooled. they simply bought the rights to use the name. a dent in my door has turned into a series of rework and repairs of damage they caused during the original repair. it was one week of downtime for the original repair (industry average). very poor detail work after the repair caused two more days downtime while they cleaned it up. after washing vehicle, i noticed two major flaws in the paint job, many other minor defects and still some debris from the first time. i'm still deciding if i want them to repaint or another shop. i took the vehicle to the dealership to find an electrical problem i was having, and their technician found all the wires that run through the dust boot (from chassis to door) had been cut and spliced by the body shop, and one of the splices had come undone. brien ford collision center actually cut the factory wire harness rather than pull the wires through the door. this is unheard of and i am still dumbfounded to think someone would do such a thing. so now they have to have that wiring harness completely replaced. the story is not over yet, but i needed to get this out there in hopes of saving anybody a world of frustration and downtime.

I've been doing business with Brien Collision for over 7 years - which dates back to when they were just an extension of the main sales building (they've since split off from Brien Motors and are now an independent entity licensing the Brien name).

In that time, I've purchased 2 F350 DRW trucks, 1 mustang, 2 explorers, and referred 3 friends who also purchased vehicles from them. I've had each car in the shop for either major or minor body and paint work. One of my F350's was hit in the side and spent 68 days with them.

They do mediocre work at best, often requiring multiple trips through the shop to get the job completed. Attention to detail is low. For example, if you have several areas or scratches needing repair, chances are good that they will miss at least one of them. Calling and asking them to double check does not help - they still miss things... If your time is important to you and you do not want to make multiple trips just for the sake of inspecting and rejecting the work then you should probably look for another shop.

I've had many problems getting them to call me when the vehicle is ready. Most of the time, I have to call them to find out. Communication is poor and has resulted in lost time and frustration. When I did complain that one of my cars sat for several weeks, the receptionist became defensive and suggested that it was my fault for not calling them when they failed to contact me... That left me lost for words...

At this point, I will never do business with them again and I will probably write a letter to the BBB... Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else...

Though I wasn't particularly happy with the car I bought from Brien Ford the sale itself was satisfactory. They have a "one price" system which I like because then you don't feel like you paid more than someone else would have. They also don't have overly aggressive salesmen, which I personally hate! I would not hesitate to buy another car from them in the future if they had a car I was interested in.
