Guadalajara

I went to Guadalajara in Woodland last summer and really enjoyed the service. The food is average but I enjoyed the atmosphere. I would take my family there again

Was on business in the area, went to Safeway and noticed this restaurant. Ordered food including chicken tortilla soup..then I was back for 4 or 5 days straight.

I went to Guadalajara one recent hot, sunny day, when I was with a small group of 3 other people, and we simply stumbled upon it when we were out and about in Woodland. It was about 2pm, kind of in between lunch & dinner.

Service was great, they kept our water glasses filled, chips & salsa were perfect and fresh. Their giant platter o' nachos was very good, although the nacho chips did get soggy after a bit from all the toppings, as they do, but our server kept our chips 'n' salsa basket full on request, so I just added my nachos on top of the crispy tortilla chips. Mmmm! Crunchy goodness. I also had a midori margarita (they do check I.D.'s!), which was quite strong, and therefore I don't remember what the other people in my group ordered. They enjoyed the place too.

Neat & clean Mexican restaurant, friendly servers who made us feel welcome, and I've been begging my husband to take me there again. It's located off of I-5, near the Safeway.
