Mountain View Ice Arena

I went to this ice skating rink recently for a birthday party. It was the first time I'd been there and I was impressed. It was very clean inside and the skating rinks were very nice. They had two large rinks and they were well maintained. The skate shoe rentals were actually really nice, not what you would expect from rental skates.

The balcony area for viewing was a nice extra. You could view the rink and stay warm.

This location offers two rinks in which to skate, so even if there's hockey practice or a game going on, the public can still skate. They offer ice skate rentals for about 5 dollars, so even newbies to the sport are welcome.

At times, the rinks play host to fairly exceptional athletes, for example, Olympic qualifiers have been held in this rink.

The quality of the rink is good, and Zambonis are out on the ice every hour or so to keep it flat and smooth. It is a nice facility for parents and kids alike.

It's very hard to find a great place to ice skate anymore and this is one of those great places. They have two good sized rinks inside so the public can skate even if hockey practice or skating lessons are going on in the other rink. They keep the surfaces nice and clean and smooth. There is also a nice balcony type room for viewing if you don't want to skate and it's nice and warm in there.

It can be a bit difficult to get to at times because it's in the busy cascade park/fishers landing area and the traffic can be heavy. They also do birthday parties although we have not been there for one yet.

Another great place to take the family to chill out during those hot days of summer or just have fun even in the cool winter.
They are equipped with 2 rinks so while one has a group practicing the other is open for the public. Usually it's not too crowded and there's a top room to watch from without getting too cold. This is also a great place for birthday parties.

The Mountain View Ice Arena is a nice place that has many opportunities for people to get out on the ice. They offer skating lessons, hockey (youth through adult), birthday party packages, etc. The facility is very clean and the staff is helpful. Admission is around $7 and skate rentals are around $3. This is a great place for a family night since it is affordable and the children would have so much fun.

This is a huge double complex for skating located just to the north of Portland, OR. It sports twin arenas for some serious skating. It is also located near some good fast food shops if you want to take a break from the skating.
