MacRina Bakery & Cafe

I used to live in the Austin Bell building, a few blocks south of this place. My favorite weekend ritual would be to visit the bakery for a morning pastry and coffee. My favorites included the bread pudding and the peanut butter cookies. They also sell excellent salads, serve a good brunch, and some tasty homemade spreads.

We came across this one day after a nice lunch. There were quite a few people there so I figured it would be good. They had an excellent selection of breads and treats. I bought an Italian bread that was delicious with dinner that night. They seemed to be selling quite a few hand-made sandwiches. The smell emanating from the bakery onto the street was fabulous. I'll definitely go back next time I am in the area.
