I love this store. I make a point to drive up from Burlington just to shop (and consign clothes) at Labels (both stores).
I've sold alot of clothes there and I've bought almost as much. If I dont find something at the Ellis store, I go to the Bakerview store.

The turnover in this store is very good, so you end up making more money for the things you drop off. Your money is tracked in the computer, you can either get cash or apply it to store credit. The quality of clothes is good, no funky old stuff that has been there for a year. Fun modern clothes.

Selling: Labels is toward the top of my list in Bellingham. The ladies have all been very nice and I've made more money from them than any other store in town. It takes more effort than selling to a regular thrift store but it's been worth it because I've made more money. Way it works: They go through your items, choose a max. of 10 per person/account, create an account for you (takes 2 minutes), then sell your items for you. You get 40% of what sells. They mark your items down every couple of weeks if they don't sell and after 60 days, they donate them elsewhere UNLESS YOU COME GET THEM! I usually check in every few weeks and they always just give me cash. You can come get your things at any time if you decide to keep something or want it back. Buying: I haven't had time to shop there yet but it's a high-end place and what I've seen has been really cute stuff. Check it out!

PROS: For nice clothes, you can make more $ here than most used clothing stores.
CONS: Items not bought outright; wait for them to sale; donated if not reclaimed

I would not recommend going to this place. Usually when you take in clothers to consign them they tell you what they'll take and then either pay you for it or give you store credit. I'm stil not sure what happened with the money I should have gotten from taking my clothes in there. Other than that, if you're going there to buy, they have tons of stuff, and upstairs at the end of every month there are sales for $1 and cheaper.
