Good spices, bad video transfers! Also called "R & M Video and Spices", this little shop carries Indian grocery items and spices, and has a side-business doing video transfers.
It's a good place to come for the groceries, but think again before you go in for the video services! I brought them a videotape to be transferred from PAL to NTSC and they recorded it in low-quality EP/SLP mode (!) and were unable to make a decent copy of the tape. I ended up taking it to G T Recording where I was able to get a very professional transfer made for a few dollars more than what I wasted at R & M...

PROS: Good Indian spices
CONS: Terrible video transferring service

Located in the University District at the corner of 55th and University Way, the R & M grocery is a rare find in Seattle. They have the best selection of imported Indian foods and spices, as well as a good selection of everyday items any neighborhood corner store should have in stock. What also makes the R & M special is their own video store, that stocks all the latest Bollywood hits. Be sure to stop by early on the weekends, because you can get two great tasting homemade Samosas for under two bucks.
