The owner of this store Kathy is one of the nastiest people you will meet. She is condescending and arrogant. The store is filled with beads and findings you can find much cheaper in other stores or at bead shows. The employees have an attitude of superiority and consider it a favor to help you or stoop down to your level as everyone is below them and their special talents. You can find everything at this store online for much cheaper, sometimes half of what they charge.
PROS: None
CONS: Expensive, bad attitude.

I recently took a beginner's beading class at Beads and Beyond and it was amazing. The owner, Kathy, is extremely smart, knowledgable, and doesn't talk down to rank beginners like me. She taught us a lot of tricks you won't find in books, and gave us plenty of time to work on our own projects while walking around to help us individually.
The store itself is wonderful - a huge selection, reasonable prices, and very friendly staff willing to explain things, make suggestions, or keep out of your way if that's what you prefer. Such a great resource on the Eastside!

This is a great bead store. They have a huge selection that's easy to see. Their prices are average as well. They are very organized and clean. There's a place for kids to play while mom shops, but it's so big, there's room for a stoller too. They have great ideas, books, and a very friendly staff. Beginners would be okay shopping here.

There are a lot of interesting beads here, but the store is very small. They have a catalog with classes that you can take listed, but they are quite expensive. I took a "Garden Bracelet" making class about 2 years ago, and i think it was about $65 dollars including supplies

I've been visiting, taking classes and purchasing beading supplies from Beads & Beyond for several years. Their class offerings are really great. Instructors are knowledgeable and there's the added benefit of having the classroom in the same building as the store. If you forget something or want additional supplies, it's easy to get them.
The salespeople are friendly and ready to assist with information and/or suggestions.
PROS: Interesting items not found in other bead supply stores
CONS: Small store, wish they carried a few additional items

Right across from the downtown Bellevue Park is this bead store with a huge selection of beads, tools and everything you need for this incredibly popular and addicting hobby. There are always a number of very knowledgeable and helpful staff at hand. They have a regular schedule of classes that get filled up so quickly as soon as registration starts that they have wait lists!
PROS:
CONS: A bit pricey (but beware: this is not an inexpensive hobby.)
