My favorite Italian restaurant on the Eastside. Amazing food, huge portions, classy. Have been going there for 20 years; that speaks for itself, you'd say!

What a great neighborhood Italian restaurant in Bellevue! Besides the moderate prices and great tasting food - we find the ambiance of the restuarant - just right for either fine or casual dining! Try the Snapper or Egglant Parmigiana!!

My wife and I are always on the lookout for an above average place to eat. We stumbled upon Andiamo in Bellevue the other day. Not only was the wait staff cordial and attentive but they all seemed to go out of their way to make all feel at home. We sat close to the counter and could hear the employees enjoying their work. It clearly shows that each and everyone is doing what they truly love to do.
My wife loved her pasta dish and I my veal. Both were cooked to perfection. Thank you Andiamo! We'll be back.

Pros: Authentic Food, Romantic Setting, Super Service

Cons: No Breakfast

The worst service from restaurants I have received have all been in Italian restaurants and Andiamo is no exception. The "why are you here bothering me" attitude of servers is not acceptable in any setting or venue. The food wasn't bad, but I couldn't enjoy my overpriced Italian meal because the servers were just too rude and inattentive. I wouldn't go back even if they offered it for free unless they got rid of their servers (and probably their management, heck and probably their owners)!

This is a great little place! This is an ideal place to bring a date, very quiet, private dining with just the right amount of energy from the open kitchen to make you feel like you're eating in someone's home.

I had dinner there this past Sunday night with a friend and it was wonderful! We asked the waiter to bring us what the chef would recommended and we were treated to a sampling of different items on the menu. My favorites were the mushroom ravioli, the lamb chops and the grilled seafood plate (that was the special on that night's menu - but worth asking for). Really a fun evening with great food and, I think, very good prices considering what you are eating - big prawns, big scallops and plenty of calamari.

I went there to celebrate my birthday and found the staff to be happy and welcoming. It really seemed like a lively place with great food and a friendly staff.

Planning on bringing my parents there when they come to town to visit.

My wife and I went here the other day, and although I'm not a huge fan of Bellevue in general, we greatly enjoyed Andiamo's Italian authenticity, the romantic setting and wine. We had a delicious and romantic dinner. Not sure what this person below was complaining about, sounds like a foodie with a bone to pick. I'd say this place was fantastic, despite the fact that it's located in Bellevue ;)

After a bad incident ~8 years ago at this restaurant, my husband and I finally returned recently to give Andiamos another try. This second experience confirmed that we won't return again. We were seated at a table that was directly opposite the front door on a very cold night. The draft each time the door was opened was chilling and made our seating arrangements uncomfortable. The hors de oeuvres we ordered (SMOKED SALMON PUGLIESE TOASTS) were very good, but a portion of the hors de oeuvres contained butter, in place of what should've been cream cheese. I don't know if this happened by accident in the kitchen, or whether they'd run out of cream cheese, but 1/2 way through the appetizer, we realized that the recipe wasn't quite right, and not nearly as good as the first 1/2 we tried. For the main course, the veal piccata was EXTREMELY fatty and contained a lot of gristle throughout the meat. It was awful, and a very poor cut of meat. The pasta that came on the side-dish tasted very similar to Spaghettios (we did not eat any of this). But, the vegies were delicious, and we ate every bite! All in all, we were very disappointed in the meal, and won't be visiting them again. The dining establishment itself is romantic and the wait staff was very attentive however, so we have zero complaints about that! Maybe if we had ordered something else on the menu, it would've been better...

I went to Andiamo Restaurant last night with a couple of friends and we all agreed this was the best meal we had in a long time. We were impressed with the large display of Italian wines on the central table as well. The staff was attentive and the atmosphere relaxing and friendly. In general a very good experience. Two thumbs up for Andiamo!

Service: It took at least ten minutes before the wait staff came to our table so that we could order drinks and appetizers. We were visited no more than five times over a 40 minute period. Staff was difficult to understand, all having heavy foreign accents.

Atmosphere: Other patrons were heavily underdressed, mostly t-shirt and jeans. Tables are so close together that you're constantly trying to talk louder than the people next to you. Children were screaming and running amok, running into our chairs and into the wait staff. The staff blatantly ignored the situation.

Food: The appetizer was small, of little flavor. The main course was of roughly the same quality of a national chain restaurant, however costing nearly 3x the price. There were no sides.

Facilities: We were sat near the front of the restaurant. We were constantly cold. As mentioned previously, many of the tables are far too close to each other.

I would NOT recommend this location. It is not romantic, the seating is inadequate for group dining, the food is subpar and overpriced, and the entire staff appears as if it just jumped off a bus from down south.

I love this place. The lighting is soft, the tables are cozy. Every table is the romantic one although we've gone with friends and it doesn't feel odd having the candle light, it feels natural. The food is always delicious no matter what we've gotten. I find myself eating more than I'm hungry for because I enjoy the flavor. I never feel rushed, I'm always happy and satisfied when I go here. I prefer it hands down over the other big Italian place in Bellevue.

This is a really nice choice in Bellevue if you enjoy contemporary Italian dishes. Very warm atmosphere, nice choice of wines, attentive staff. Our large table sampled a variety of appetizer dishes such as the bruschetta, grilled italian sausage (live flame grill), calamari, and prawns scampi.

For the main course, we really loved the chicken piccata. Lovely chicken sauteed in chardonnay wine, lemon capers and butter. We had two kids at our table and requested to please eliminate the accompanying vegetables! The wait staff was very understanding with our changes. There's a great carbonara with very generous bacon and cream sauce. The tortellini in prosciutto seemed to be another favorite at our table. Some of the adults just went with spaghetti or lasagna and everyone was so pleased with their dishes! I almost forget, a few folks tried the "de mare" or seafood options and were quite pleased with their pasta and seafood.

All in all, we would really recommend going to Andiamo's.

We had dinner and dessert at your restaurant and it was absolutely
wonderful! Not only did the chef prepare fabulous food but the wait staff
was so attentive, helpful and courteous to us! She was great. It's so
nice to dine at a fine restaurant where we can ask the chef to make minor
changes to the menu and the waitress was so attentive to our needs. We
thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Andiamos and will certainly return again.

Dinner for 4 on a special occasion night. We chose a Sunday night in hope of uncrowded Bellevue and a peaceful dinner. We chose correctly.
The food was quite good, the waiter attentive (though a bit "over-the-top") and a nice atmosphere. The prices would be $$-$$$, not the single dollar ($) as indicated. However, we would definitely return.

After finding what I thought was the perfect place to spend a romantic anniversary with my boyfriend reservations were made. Boy was I wrong about this place. When we arrived they had no idea that we had reservations and sat us in a crowded corner where they forgot about us for quite some time. How they forgot about us I don't know since we were seated next to a 3 year old who banged his plates with silverware, screamed at the top of his lungs, and ran all over the place. After our disappointing and pricey appetizers we decided to get the rest to go so we might get a chance to enjoy our special night. Wrong again. The food ( which was on my lap) leaked on the way home. When we opened the containers the serving sizes were ridiculously small. Back to Andiamo's we went to return the food. Finally, after arguing and insulting my boyfriend they gave us our money back. The night which were suppose to be romantic was ruined. Thank you Andiamo.

From the moment we walked in the cook was shoving food down his mouth behind the food line. The wine was way overpriced, the service was average and are server had his shirt unbuttoned half way down exposing his hairy chest. The calamari was very fishy and it was like chewing a rubber band. When we received are 17$ ravioli I counted 8 pieces of pasta and they where very small. The food overall was not something I would care to consume again. I will never return !!!!!!!!

I did a TON of research to choose my husband's birthday dinner reservation and after speaking to friends and reading the reviews on CS - we chose Andaimo. I was nervous because when I made my reservation, the person who answered the phone could barely speak a lick of English and kept asking me the same questions over and over. What should have taken 5 minutes to make a reservation took 15 because of the ineptitude of the host.
I was assured by friends that their experience was excellent.
Arriving on time for our reservation we walked in and stood there while employees stared at us for a few monents and said nothing. I informed them kindly that we had a reservation and the woman literally grunted at us and started walking away. She walked to a table (very small restaurant) and pointed at it and said "Here" to us as if to call us like animals.
We sat for over 20 minutes without water, bread or a server. When someone finally came - he had NO idea about anything on the menu, the bar, or the specials.
Long story short (if this is considered short! HA!), the food was hot, it tasted okay - nothing spectacular - , and the service was horrid. I won't be returning ever.
Not an expensive place but definitely not worth it!

I had the Tagliatelle and it was SSSOOOO good. My fiance had the Carbonara, also good. We have been trying to find an Italian restaurant that is some where in the vicinity as good as Steps of Rome (in San Francisco). This one comes closest.

The staff were very nice and accomodating. The only thing weird was that when we called to make a reservation they said they were booked until 8:30, but said to come early or call and they would let us know if it dies down. We had stuff to do, so by the time we got there it was 8:30. There were six tables occupied, two of which were just getting ready to leave as we sat down.

Prices are some what high: $15-$22 per pasta plate. But the taste makes it all worth it.

The food for this place was alright, nothing to go wow over. It was overpriced so i don't understand why citysearch rated this place with $ when it should be $$$. Average prices on dishes are around $20. They charge extra to add meat or shrimp. Less if you just have pasta but thats boring. There isnt a large selection of dishes to choose from either. My friend did like the lasagna dish though. It's just to expensive for my taste. I rather go eat sushi for the amount i paid here.

Well, let me start off by saying that I have been coming to this restaurant for a few years now and have ALWAYS enjoyed my experience here. I love the food and wine selection and have NEVER tried something I didn't completely fall in love with. Not to mention, the service there is almost as if I were dining with family. I most often than not, show up by myself, but never feel alone. Nancy ( My 'usual' server) and Reyes (The owner) are very polite and VERY funny! They will answer any questions and concerns you may have and are very helpful when you're trying to figure out something new to try. They really cater to your needs. I would recommend coming here ANY night of the week. If you're looking for a great meal or a fabulous wine selection. This place is a MUST!

I have been to Italy 3 times in my life now and done it all from italian school cafeteria food to 7 course meals to quick tratorria style eating. I really enjoyed this place and got wonderful service with our group of 10 people that I normally would not expect. I had the SALTIMBOCCA: Scalloppini with prosciutto and sage in a Marsala cream sauce (yah I just looked at the menu to remember it, don't hate). It was ridiculously good. Definitely a place to try out.

I decided to try out a new Italian restaraunt with my girlfriend last night. After careful consideration, we decided to try Andiamo's out since it was close to home. We walked in the door and proceeded to wait to be seated. And continued to wait. And wait. Within five minutes of arriving, four different staff members had looked at us and then walked away multiple times, without ever having even acknowledging our existence. A simple "Hi, I'll be right with you" would have sufficed to make us feel like we were welcome in this restaraunt, but we didn't get even that. I even watched one of them walk up, stare at us for a while, and then turn around and stare at the wines scratching her head.

We decided that if they couldn't even treat us like paying customers, then they didn't deserve having us as customers. I don't appreciate being ignored by people in a service position. We left, and will never be back.

Ive been to Andiamo several times and have been completely satisfied every time. I found Andiamo during the power outage last year when hardly anyone in Bellevue was even open. The wait staff were very accommodating and considering the intensity of dozens of very hungry people, they were very friendly and upbeat. Nancy is usually my server and is sweet and fun and makes us feel welcome and like family. The own er is usually there and offers a warm, personal greeting as if you were old friends. The kitchen and wait staff seem as if they have a lot of fun working together. They have a very reasonably priced and beautiful variety of Italian wines not to mention my 2 favorite Amorones which are hard to come by in most restaurants. My favorite dish is the wild mushroon ravioli as well as linguini pescatori which is absolutely huge. Dont pass this one up. The food and hospitallity is to die for.

Pros: food, service, and location

Cons: not one

We went to Andiamo's on Saturday Night to celebrate my husband?s birthday. Let me just tell you that we had a great experience with everything starting with the service. Upon arrival we were greeted by two ladies with a beautiful smile, afterwards we were seated at our table it was 12 of us including our kids and family . Pretty big party but our server did a great job. She was very helpful and she brought everything on time the whole experience was great. Food was delicious we?re definitely going back to Andiamos. Thank you to everyone at Andiamos for a wonderful dinner.

My friend and I went to Andiamo on Tuesday night, for the first time as soon as we came in through the door we were greeted with a smile, they asked us if we had a reservation and I said no. I thought that might be a problem but, it wasn?t. Soon the young girl that was there got us a table. When we sat down she introduced herself Gisele was her name and told us about the specials and offer us something to drink. I end up having the delicious Lamb Chops this dish is serve with Gnioki gorgonzola and very tasteful vegetables and my friend had the Pear Gorgonzola Ravioli both of our meals were the best we felt that were really in Italy. The service was excellent end even though they were only two serves and were very busy our server always came at the right time to make sure that everything was fine. The food is incredible and the wine oh my god! they have this amazing antique table right in the middle of the restaurant with a crazy selection of wines. The restaurant is beautiful I loved the open kitchen everybody there seem to be having a good time. I don?t really know why there some many negative reviews and I think all the people that writes a bad review should start having a life and be a little more positive. For my experience I highly recommend Andiamo.

It seems people either love or hate this place. Personally I love it.

I?ve been reading some of the reviews and to be honest I don?t agree with any that says that andiamo has the worst service and specially the one about Gisselle .

Gisselle is one of the most helpful servers and always has given us an excellent service. We move to Bellevue about seven months ago and Andiamo was our first choice, and the night that we went Gisselle was our server she gave us the best service ever and that?s one of the good reasons why we keep going back and asking for her all the time.

I know the sometimes, as customers we expect too much most of the time, and don?t realized that we are not the only ones being served. I know that when I come in here to check or to write a review I like to see that people can say good things.

For the way the lorimel feels about Gisselle?s service should not be a discouragement for you not to go and check Andiamo. We always have a great experience and I know you will too. Food is excellent , service to my point of view is outstanding. If you treat them with respect, they will treat you with respect. Andiamo a true gem in Bellevue.

Thank you Andiamo for always given us such an outstanding service. an for the great food. Alfredo the cheff Great work. Special thank you to Gisselle for the EXCELLENT SERVICE ever keep it up!

We went there for one of our friend's birthday dinner. It was Friday busy night. We didn't get acknowledged for good 10 minutes, standing and waiting at the door, we got finally seated, another 5-10 minutes past, nobody came to take our orders. We were patiently waiting, there was one male server who was nice and pleasant, however the waitress who served our table was Soooooo rude. One of our order was Linguine with Mussel, when we got our order, it was Linguine with Clams. Of course we told her that we ordered Linguine with Mussel, and I even told her that I heard him say MUSSELs not CLAMS, however this waitress insisted that he ordered Clams, and told us "We are busy, Kitchen is very busy...blah blah blah" So pretty much she is telling us "Live with it, we dont have time to remake your food" WOW, we laughed, we are very generous tipper when we receive a good service, but Sorry we did not feel like she earned any. We will never go back to this restaurant again. VERY BAD SERVICE.

had to return a cocktail, an entire entree (that we didn't even want back) and then laughed at the desserts (they were so bad after tasting)!!! however, we couldn't return THREE things in one meal, could we?!

it just fell short on all accounts. unprofessional staff, basic food, nothing to go back for. tables were "stickey", the lighting was "dusty"....i am sure all the reviews can't be wrong, so am hoping it was an off night.

again, hope we we were there on an off night....but, if in the neighborhood, i'd head to chutney's instead...

I had been wantign to try Andiamo for a while now, and finally went on a Friday night with a small group of friends. We arrived fairly late (for the East side) at around 8pm, and as I walked in I got the feeling the staff was bored and keen to head home - they were huddled together near the open-plan kitchen, and the restaurant had an odd vibe.

Nevertheless, I put my doubts aside and our group was seated. Our waitress was bad from the start - brusque, sloppy and totlaly unfriendly. I think she was really hoping to go home early that night, and we felt rushed throughout the meal. When our food arrived she plonked it down violently on the table, and made no effort to clear our appetizer plates. She then appeared as we were half-way through our main courses and asked if we needed anything. I thought she was just checking on our meals, but no, she was asking whether we wanted anythign more to eat. We all said "no, we're fine" at the time, and 2 seconds later were presented with the bill. This was while we were still eating our dinner, and before she'd bothered to ask us about dessert.

On the positive side, the food was surprisingly goof. The caprese salad was fresh and had good fresh mozzarella and good quality balsamic. My main dish of wild mushroom ravioli was excellent. They don't seem to have a wine list (at least, we were never given one), and their list of wines by the glass is quite short, but has some decently-priced albeit average quality Italian wines.

Tased on the terrible service I am not inclined to go here again, which is a pity given the tasty food. If they cane improve their wait-staff, this place would be a worthy contendor with other Italian restaurants on the East side.

My wife and I left our three kids with grandma for a nice dinner out last night. We've probably been to Andiamos seven times before, but we won't be going back. The waitress was slow and unattentive, she never asked us for pepper for our salads, how our meal was, if we wanted another glass of wine, etc...the things you expect in a nice and moderately expensive restaurant. Aside from bringing the food and bill, no staff visited our table for an hour, they just huddled around the cash register and gabbed (loudly) To top it off, my order was botched, which the waitress blamed on the chef despite the receipt actually docuemented that she entered in the system wrong (eggplant vs. chicken parmesan). Once the corrected and brought me chicken, it was clear the chef rushed it becuase it was seared nearly burnt on the outside and dry and leathery, and in some spots on the inside were not cooked and still pink/soft. At that point I was too fed up to complain and just ate the pasta and veggies so we could leave. All told, we were exceptionally disappointed and won't be going back. Very sad that this one-time-gem in Bellevue has gone downhill so dramatically.

Andiamo has a European ambiance not found in any other restaurant on the Eastside. Delectable Italian dishes are prepared with the utmost professionalism and care, each one tantalizing the discerning palet. Besides their Italian specialties, Andiamo's cuisine also includes with it, a wide variety of tempting seafood plates, a great favorite being their king salmon picante' with angel hair pasta and mixed fresh vegetables. The wonderful food is complimented with a huge selection of the very best red and white wines on the market, from the fruity Primitivos and lusty Chiantis, to the sweetest Chardonnays, Andiamo has a full selection of not only wines, but also beers and mixed drinks. The staff are always friendly and courteous, bringing with them a certain mixed flair of the very best of both traditional and modern culture. Reyes, the owner of Andiamo, and Nancy, a sparkling young lady from Peru, along with the rest of the staff always strives to create a warm and cordial atmosphere for their guests to dine in. I highly recommend this restaurant to all who gain pleasure from great Italian food and the great people who make up Andiamo....a 10!

This lovely little gem in Bellevue is not for those who expect their service to be based on a slickly packaged, never personal and always orchestrated ?drinks first, salad, entree, and out you go?. It?s more a family approach, with warmth and a personality and always wonderful food. Go with patience and an appetite and you won?t be disappointed.

My absolutely favorite thing that I often make my meal of is the Salmon Pugalise Toasts, an amazing bruchetta with herbed mascarpone cheese, capers and the most velvety smoked salmon anywhere. It is comfort and joy and melts in your mouth. The antipasti is consistently a winner: terrific grilled veggies and interesting marinated goodies to eat with the wonderfully rustic artisan bread that is served with high quality olive oil and a perfect balsamic.
I?ve tasted most everything on the menu and have enjoyed them all. Standouts are the off the menu lamb; better than Daniels. Served alongside gorgonzola gnocchi and tender crisp Italian veggies, the double chops are generous and crispy out while juicy in. YUM. Don?t miss the eggplant parm, any of the veal dishes and the beautifully toothy pastas with outstanding sauces.
They have a limited bar, an ambitious wine list, and a really nice dessert offering. I?m often too full for a sweet, but the consistently welcoming and hospitable treatment I get is all I really need. Tell Nancy hello, and take the time to trully savor a terrific meal.
Should you want the usual package, go to the Cheesecake Factory.

I totally agree on the reviews about their bad customer service. My girlfriends and I went for a late dinner (around 830pm) and we have to wait for 30 mins even though there are 2 empty tables just in front of us! The servers are so busy running around, and did not even have time to clear the empty tables for us. And when we finally sat down, ready to order, I realised that my fork is still dirty. So I waved my hand at one of the server and she just walked pass by me without stopping! We were so shocked and angry that we just walked right out of the restaurant. What I can say is "Andiamo should train their servers again!"

I went with my husband to Andiamo Restaurant last Tuesday for the first time. We had heard wonderful things about this little restaurant, although I was confused about some of the reviews in this site. Anyways we were intrigued and decided to give it a try.

I had the best Salmon I ever had in my life. It was cooked in a delicious lemony sauce and served with pasta and vegetables in a light olive oil finish. My husband had a mushroom risotto that was also yummy. Everything on the menu looked very tempting; it was very hard to pick.

We were also impressed about their extensive selection of wines, many of those sitting on a central antique table that made for a striking piece of decoration.

We had a wonderful time and are plannig to visit again. Honestly, I think that this is a true gem in Bellevue, very different from the chain restaurants we are all accustomed to these days. It has personality, so I say go for it!

I visited Andiamo's for a birthday party with a large party. Upon entering the restaurant my first thought was that the atmosphere was very nice, however this first impression quickly vanished as soon as the owner approached my fiance and I. She was very rude and cold. Upon taking our party's order she was noticeably upset because we did not order a bottle of wine, although we all ordered a number of glasses of wine and drinks. She was very rude the entire night, trying to rush us and denying multiple requests for service. Upon receiving our bill the total was almost $200.00 off, with added drinks and entrees that are party never ordered nor received. After a heated discussion she finally removed about half of those unordered items, but refused to remove the remainder of the incorrect items from the bill. And all of this treatment was from the owner. I, as well as the entire party, was completely disappointed. We will never return to this establishment and discourage others from visiting. It was an absolutely horrible experience. The food was decent, but no matter how great the food nothing could get past the worst customer service.

We had dinner there on Friday night with a 7:30 reservation. Well, we did not get seated until 8:05 and during that time we just stood and waited with as many as 11 others in the small area right inside the door, there by encroching on the 4 top that also happens to be right at the front door. "THere is no bar or lounge so there was no where to go. No one kept us abreast of why the delay or even bother to offer any of us a glass of wine to make up for this poor service. When we did finallly get a table and after about 15 minutes lets say around 8:20 we had to flag a waitress to get us a glass of wine. No one had been by to offer us anything...I have to tell ya, it was very poor costomer service.

Im not sure why Andiamo got bad ratings in the past. We had a great time there last night: from the atmosphere to the service to the food. Andiamo is a bit tucked away from the main hustle and bustle of downtown Bellevue, but it makes for a cozier, more romantic atmosphere. We sat there as day turned to night, and the assistant lit candles on every table for ambience even the bathrooms had lit candles. The decor was chic yet evocative of another time a few walls were painted a modern tangerine and the framed decorations were quaint posters from the turn-of-the-century.

The waiter was very knowledgeable about the wine he served us. We had a bottle of Chianti Classico Riserva, which is a medium to full body wine with hints of blackberry. It was semi-intense and tawny, yet rich and smooth.

Within a few minutes of ordering, we were served an appetizer of Mozzarella Caprese. The Mozzarella and basil combination was out-of-this-world. Not much later, our dinner arrived. We both ordered the lamb special. It was served on a bed of gnocci with a side of green beans and baby carrots. The lamb was heavenly we asked for it medium rare and it was flavored and grilled on the outside, but the inside was tender and melted in our mouths. The gnocci was perfectly cooked and served in a gorgonzola cream sauce that is to die for.

For desert we shared tiramisu and tartufo, which is an Italian chocolate ice cream. The tartufo had a nutty flavor; the hazelnut and other nuts combined with the chocolate was an ethereal experience. The tiramisu was delectable.

We didnt expect Andiamo to get as packed as it did on a Monday night, but even so, the waiter never neglected us. He worked very hard to ensure that we were enjoying our meal and checked frequently enough on us, despite the fact he had a 10-person party behind us. We felt very well taken care of and look forward to the next time we go to Andiamo.

Pros: Romantic Atmosphere, Excellent Service, Delicious Food

Cons: None that I can think of

As a fellow restaurant owner, here are my OPINIONS. I just went there last night, a Friday 8:30. Their dining room was overlit. They have lights for their wall pictures, but the wattage is too high, so its like you're dining in a cafeteria. There are candles, but with so much light, it was useless and not mood setting at all. We were seated appropriately and timely. Our server was pleasant in appearance, but had a strong accent which made it hard for us to understand her and she didn't understand us very well and I have no accent. The bread was warm and good. We ordered the smoked salmon toasts and it was good, but we weren't given forks, just knives so we held everything as we cut it up. I thought it might be a hand-friendly food, but the pieces were too large. It was like eating a pizza slice. I asked for two forks, but never got them. When we ordered entrees, we wanted risotto, lasagna and tagliatelle pasta. She didn't understand that we wanted 3 entrees and said I had to choose two. I'm not sure if she misunderstood me or not, but she just cost the owner an entree b/c we only ordered 2 dishes. From the way she dressed, she might have been the owner. I noticed most of the staff had aprons, but she did not. Also, when we were looking at ordering cocktails, their only vodka was Stolis. For a white linen place that serves martinis, they should have a top shelf vodka. Grey Goose, Chopin, or Belvedere would have been good.

So, I read the rest of the reviews and felt so vindicated! A friend and I went last week for lunch and just sort of wandered in because we both love Italian. The person who greeted us (sort of) told us we could sit "wherever", so we did. We ended up getting up after 10 minutes and getting our own menus (there were only 7 people in the restaurant!). We each ordered a ceasar salad (absoluted wilted greens with a bland dressing) and a split order of chicken picatta. After our salads arrived (another 15 minutes later) we wanted cracked pepper and once again go up and go it ourselves. When our meal came (another 15 minutes later) it was cold and pitiful. All along, we had to ask for everything, water, etc. I finally asked the waitress if they had just opened, figuring that could excuses the behavior/food. Nope, they've been open 4 years! I am a food junkie..love good food and adore and respond to good service. We got neither. Cannot believe they are still in business!!
