no doubt that its the best bike shop in town. customer service is really good. the guys that work there really know their stuff. i already bought 2 bike from them. if ill ever need another bike they are my number one option. if you come there pretty often and nice to the guys that work there you might get some nice surprises (maybe a free part or a nice discount ).

I don't know what's up with this bike shop, I went there to buy a quality bike and received very rude service. Needless to say, I did not buy anything from them.

Tough economy mate, I would be more careful with how you handle the locals, especially with competition just down the road. I don't know what your problem is, but you'll never get any more business from me.

I'd never taken my bike to a shop before. When I got there, the guy at the front desk refused to answer any of my questions, cut me off, asked me if I wanted my bike fixed or not, then gruffly motioned and told me to take my bike to the back of the shop. When I got there, a voice over a radio chided at me to "Now, just wait right there, he'll be back in a minute," like I was some little kid at a 50s soda fountain.

The repairman came along, pretty much treated me the same way verbally, and tried to push the highest quantities of the most expensive parts he could onto me. I refused to ask for them, so he did what I had come for, but while he worked on my bike, he then accused me of accusing him of not knowing anything, when I was just making general conversation with him about riding conditions.

He talked way too fast, commandeered myself and another woman who was "in line" behind me, and pretty much talked the same way to another customer on the phone. I realize he was busy, and there's some big bike race tomorrow and all, but I felt that the customer service was horrible. Essentially, both of them were real snots who were in too much of a hurry to be reasonable with a newbie customer.

The repair work seems to have been alright so far, and the costs wound up being fairly cheap. That's the only reason I gave them a second star. Next time, I'll use a different shop. They were just the only ones I knew of at the moment, and I didn't have all afternoon to shop around, which I'm now doing online. That's probably something they take advantage of verbally - customers who just don't know where else to go and don't have time right now to figure it out.

The best way I know that this is a reasonable review, btw, is that I treated both of them with respect, kindness, and gentleness. I honestly think these poor fellas need to go back to Santa Monica or where ever it is they want everyone to think they came from. Or maybe to college, where they can get some better social skills along with real degrees.

They were unsatisfactory, when I wanted some help they were rude and pushy. I got a bad understanding of Walla Walla when I just wanted to rent a bike to tour the town.

There is no doubt that this bike shop knows what it is doing and why it is considered by most Walla Walla residents to be the best spot in town to either buy a bike or have your current model repaired. I have done business with them and they are "tops".
