My friend and I went in to find a Halloween wig. The sales woman who helped me shooed me away from a wig she referred to as "too expensive" (price point $160). She pulled another one down and told me that wig was $20. My friend and I repeated it back to her, "just $20?" She replied "Yes, $20." I signed the receipt and we left.

I got home and looked at the receipt, it was $140! I called her assuming there was a mistake. She said, no, that was the price. I asked if I could return it. She said, no they wouldn't take it back.

I admit, I should have looked at my receipt, but this feels like a bait and switch. I'm unemployed and very low on money. I won't be eating this week. So much for my cheapo Halloween costume.

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE.

This place is right in the heart of downtown Seattle. Pike Place Market is across the street. I was greated by Myung and walls full of amazing wigs. Myung was very friendly and helpful. She gave me honest feedback that I really appreciated. The experience was fun and easy, and I feel like I got a great deal. My wig (for Halloween) is beautiful. I recommend this store to anyone looking for the perfect wig.

If you are a masochist, by all means shop at this store.

However, if you enjoy being treated well, avoid this place like the PLAGUE. Also, the wigs are waaaaay overpriced and of exceptionally POOR QUALITY.

And to cap it all off, the longer I was in the store (by "longer" I mean that I was waiting... and waiting... and waiting... for an employee to welcome me & offer assistance), the more time I had to realize how dirty the place was.

This place is nothing more than a tourist trap for the innocent, unsuspecting Pike Place Market visitor from out of town. If you live in Seattle, do yourself a kind favor and forget about even setting FOOT in this filthy store. And don't torture yourself by calling them on the phone either; in the 25 minutes I spent waiting for someone to assist me, I observed/heard employees chewing people out on the phone, hanging up on them, and simply ignoring the phone as it rang & rang.

Never again! I found another place to purchase my wigs. Having lost all my hair through chemo, I decided recently that if I'm going to go, I'm going out in STYLE! Too bad for the Hair Fair Wig Shop, as I was planning to buy not just one but SEVERAL different wigs in various styles & colors. They lost a LOT of money from myself AND potential future business from the dozens of women in my breast cancer support group.
