We absolutely love the Vancouver Farmers' Market! It is a great place to go for fresh produce and we love to see what the arts and craft vendors have to offer.

This farmer's market has a bit of a different set up than other area markets. It's indoors, which means it can go on all year. There are all sorts of fun vendors here as well as fresh produce. You can get bubble tea or great photos of the Northwest. Definitely check it out- it's a beautiful building, too!

Some farmers markets are too big and have too many people you can??t even walk. The Vancouver farmers market is a perfect size. They still have a wide selection and they have a lot of food venders also. It sure has come a long way.

Vancouver definitely suffers from a little sister complex and usually cannot compete in any way with its bigger, better sibling Portland, but the Vancouvers Farmers Market is pretty decent. The last time I visited was mid-April, when there were more merchants than farmers. I hope that changes as it gets to be summer, because I would love to support farmers on this side of the river. The Market is outdoors, larger than I anticipated, and dog-friendly (as long as Fidos on a leash). Everyone is friendly, nodding and smiling at everyone else. I was surprised at the made-to-order food; theres a large selection and it all looked wonderful. The best thing I found there were coconut macaroon cookies ($5 for six) that were to die for.
