For those of us who actually eat the food made at the Ferndale Domino's Pizza, the cooks do an amazing job trying to always get things right. And gosh do they, it always arrives as some of the best I've ever had, and I actually used to work as a National Domino's Pizza tester!

As for comments made by other reviewers about the store's management, let me tell you a true tale. I suffer from a major medical disability and so am most often home bound. There are little to no options in our wonderful little town to have food delivered, except from the local Domino's Pizza. (There are lots of national pizza outlets, just no one else willing to suffer the expense created by offering home delivery.) I began eating there solely because of the home delivery service, but have long continued because of the truly super, all-around service in every area of the business. Anyway, one evening, I was super hungry, so sat down at my computer and ordered a pretty big meal. I never keep cash on the premises, so always use my charge card. As I put in my order, I was shocked and stunned to find that it was rejected. I went to my online bank server and found that my bank account had been sorely compromised and had been temporarily shut down. A few minutes later, my phone rings. It was the owner/manager of the Domino's store, wanting to know if anything was wrong and if he could help in any manner. I explained that I would not be able to order that night, and told him about the assault on my account. You know what he did? He took my order over the phone, then sent it to me, free of charge! And it wasn't just a plain pizza, either, as I like my pies heavy, not to mention having a major passion for their Lava Cakes (the whole order was for a large, multi-item pizza, a salad, two Lava Cakes, and a 2-liter of Diet Coke- worth $40+). When the young woman delivering the order got to my door, I offered her ever red cent I could scrounge in the apartment- a bit over $3.00- but she refused to take a penny, saying I might need it for an emergency. (Another thing I love is that sometimes my pie order can be pretty complex. The cook never fails to call, just to double-check that he has gotten absolutely everything exactly the way I want it. How many times has the cook from any other national pizza enterprise every called you?)

Even were every shop in town to suddenly offer home delivery service, I would never go to any other shop for my pizza (not even with the $10 any size offers that seem to abound with other shops today- why do you think they have to do this?). These are not only community-minded, honest people at the Ferndale Domino's Pizza, but they make as good a pie as any Domino's shop anywhere could possibly hope to offer.

Pros: Amazing Ownership, Cook Staff, and Delivery Personel

Cons: No Coupons Other than National Release

.

The food isn't too bad but the management is crappy and dishonest. I know some people who used to work there and have heard about a lot of dishonest things that would happen. For example when they moved into their new location they did not have clearance from the health department to open the store. The owner and upper management decided to open the store anyway. Their make-line (the refrigerated rack that they keep the toppings on) broke and they could not refrigerate their toppings at an acceptable temperature. The problem was not fixed for several weeks. I have also heard other stories about the dishonesty that goes on at that store which I do not have space to write. On top of all this the store is extremely dirty. There are even footprints on the wall. This particular store is bad for the brand and really should go into new ownership. I wouldn't eat there again if my life depended on it.
