The guys at Tiki were great! Never had been there, first tattoo I have had done. I know my tat shops though, many of times I have been with friends and in comparison to other places I have walked into, this is THEE cleanest shop I have seen in the South Sound. Hand downs. They also have more flexible hours than others shops in the area, they open at 11am! I literally walked in and didn't have to wait, maybe a slow day or just luck, but it made me a lot happier knowing that I wouldn't have to go through the process of making an appointment.
The guys were professional yet fun too. I had my artist (Brad) redo my transfer 3 times before I felt it was perfect and never did he seem frustrated or mad,he was really personable! And he is really good with lines (I have seen many tats that are supposed to have strait lines turn into crooked messes)! It cost me exactly what I expected it to. I'm a firm believer that you do get what you pay for although nobody wants to be ripped off. I felt all was fair and I have already recommended quite a few of my friends and will definitely return for more! PS Travis is AWESOME! He wasn't my artist but honestly the sweetest guy on earth and very helpful!

I've read the reviews of Tiki tattoo and as a customer i thought i should write one myself. i live in California and travel all over the country. I've had tattoo's done in in many different states by lots of different artist and there's only two that i feel really comfortable with and Travis at Tiki tattoo is one of them. Travis does great work but you need to be patient and open minded because he has alot of customers that want work from him so his time is spread thin. if you don't go in with the attitude of "I want it my way and only my way" you will be pleasantly surprised on what Travis can design for you. my advice for you is to go in and talk with him about your design at least a couple of weeks ahead of time so he can work on some sketches for you and then set up an appointment. when i get back up to Washington later this year I know i am going to stop by Tiki tattoo and get more work done. p.s. I've gotten nothing but compliments on the work done by Travis so take my advice and you will be happy with the results.

I had my first tattoo done at this shop and have not returned since. Travis was the "artist". I described to him what I wanted and he came back in 10min with a drawing, didn't want to take any time to spend on me. It took 45min to apply (6in across x 2in wide) and he charged me $180. I would pay any amount of money for a tattoo that is done properly and professionally with quality results, so money is not an issue, but some people want to know how much I paid. Its my own fault for not having more sense to find a different shop but I was 18 and dumb. I would never recommend this shop. There are much cleaner, more professional tattoo shops out there that care about their customers and love their jobs. FYI - real artists WANT to spend as much time as they need to make their clients happy and build a strong clientelle.

I went to Tiki Tattoo had Travis apply a tattoo on my arm. I have had worked done by other shops, I must say I felt at ease in choosing this shop from the minute I walked in. Clean, imformative, with lots of designs to choose from.(although Travis drew my tattoo in front of me). Thanks again, I'll be back for sure. Gary

I got tattooed twice by "Big "Josh at Tiki Tattoo. He took the time to re-draw my crappy sketches I brought in, and I'm very happy with the healed pieces, there crisp and bright!! I made an appointment for my mom next week for her first tat!!
The only con I can see is they don"t do piercing....

My previous tattoo guy vacated this place, so I decided to try someone new. The guy at the front desk got me in early with the only available person. There was a good reason why he had an opening. Little talent + bad attitude + the ability to screw people over = small workload. He is a miserable person and does what he can to make the customer feel just as crappy. Invest your dollars at a different shop. If you do decide to go with Tiki, avoid the guy who resembles a penis with overgrown pubic hair (aka Sarge).

I've been in a few tattoo parlors in Washington looking around for some ink work,, and no place really felt "right" so, I was waiting to get it done and, so, I went to Tiki Tattoo in Lacey on recommendation from some friends, and let me tell you, it was great! I was a little nervous, it being my first ink, but they were friendly, and the place was really clean. ...I brought in my own sketch, and they re-drew it for me to work better, and it looks way better than I thought it would!
To be honest, it did hurt a bit, but it was worth the pain, and every dollar I spent, it looks killer, and I get compliments on my new ink all the time....

The artist (Travis) I talked with was unwilling to draw me anything custom. My friends warned me not to go there, I just had to see for myself. There are better local artists to go to, don't waste your time with these dicks!

The guys at Tiki are awesome. I have gone in 25 plus times & got to know many of the ARTISTS there.
Not only do they take the time to give you what you want, they do AWESOME work.
They actually care about the work they are doing, the art they are putting on you, forever!!
Although the money is their livelyhood I got the feeling they care about the work first..........then get to the money when it's done!!
If you're a first timer at tattoos, I highly recommend these guys as well. They talk you thru the process before hand so you won't get nervous!
Now as far as the pricing...........most tattoo joints are getting the same per job. Some price per hour, some price per job. Don't kid yourself....the pricing is all about the same everywhere!! If you go into a shop & they'll do a sleeve for $500.00...........I wouldn't trust 'em!
Hope this helps............

PROS: Great artists, great atmosphere
CONS: Very busy shop, may have to wait awhile(it's well worth it!)

This shop is a great place to get a tatoo or bellybutton ring. They are the leading artists in the industry and I have used them for both. There location is easy to find and prices are fair for quality work.
