I had a positive experience at the Queen Anne location. It was easy to drop in without an appointment and they had a big team to accommodate the influx of ladies.

There are tons of cheap nail shops in lower queen anne, but a friend recommended this place to me. I've gone a few times, usually for an underarm wax, but today was my first time getting a pedicure. The first couple times I went was great, girl was extra nice and did a great job. Don't know where she went, but they need her back. First they tried to burn me with wax that was way too hot, then they sit me in the broken chair for a pedi, and got more paint on my toes, than the toe nail. I will never go back.

Pros: Sometimes cheap depending on their mood.

Cons: Waxing, Pedicures, everything but the price.

I went to Diamond Nails with my friend on a Sunday morning to get manicures. I wasn't expecting the best service in the world, considering their mani's are only $10, but was expecting the experience to be longer than 15 minutes. I get the impression that they are more interested in "turning and burning" them rather than trying to establish repeat clientele. The utensils they use are not clean, the massage lasted about 20 seconds, and the polish was terrible....it was all over my cuticles, was uneven, and even had bubbles in it. The technician was polite, but I will not be returning here....

I have been going here for over a year and have not had a bad experience yet. The staff is friendly and fast. I never have to make an appointment. I'm going today!

I used to be a regular here, until my toe cuticles were damaged beyond belief. They are UNSANITARY. They shave the dead skin from your feet and re-use the razor (BIG infection risk). They clipped my cuticles so badly that I now have a skin growth where I used to have healthy cuticles. I will NEVER go to one of these cheap, unsanitary, "chop shop" nail places again. There is a reason it's so cheap, you get what you pay for. Be safe. Go somewhere safe and respectable. They also shaved my heels too much, so that my feet were ALWAYS cracked....and bleeding. Since going somewhere else, my feet are thankfully back to their baby soft selves.

I've gone to so many nail salons in Seattle, particularly in the Queen Anne neighborhood. After my first visit to Diamond Nails and my appointment with Lee, I knew I'd finally found a place I would go to regularly. All of the people who work there are so welcoming and eager to get you seated. I have gels on my nails (the newest innovation in fake nails and so much better-looking/long-lasting than acrylic). The few times I had gels put on before had me under the impression that it's supposed to hurt. I actually had a lady scold me for flinching at another Queen Anne nail salon. At Diamond Nails they are always very gentle and very efficient. In addition, they have great prices. For a mani/pedi combo it's only $20! I've already converted several friends to Diamond Nails, and urge anyone who cares about quality, service, and good prices to do the same.

This is a fantastic little place for all manicure/pedicure services. The prices are amazingly low and the staff is so friendly. They have just expanded and have added the Spa Pedicure chairs. The best bargain is the $13 Spa Pedicureits absolutely amazing and I havent seen a pedicure for that price anywhere else.

An AFFORDABLE LUXURY

Besides the fact that you can't beat the prices ($25.00 for a manicure & pedicure)I like Diamond b/c I feel confident about the cleanliness. The autclave for tools is right out where you can see it & they scrub the pedicure tubswith antiseptic between each use.

Even though they advertise the same servies & prices, don't make the mistake of going to the place next door to Diamond Nails. Diamond was there first & remains the BEST!

The staff there is very nice & friendly & will remember your name after the first visit, but they won't chat your ear off if you just want to listen to your ipod or read a magazine.

For waxing & manicures, ask for Lin. For pedicures, all the staff is about equal.
