This place was horrible. \n\nI bought a netbook and asked specifically if I could return it if I put Ubuntu on it, if for some reason it didn't work. I was told, ""Sure!"" So, I did put it on it, but it didn't run well and the wireless card didn't work. I called to make sure, ""I installed Ubuntu, can you take this back?"" Again, I was told by an employee, ""Yes, bring it back. We will just wipe it out."" \n\nI rode the bus over an hour to get there only to be told that they couldn't do it. After being told multiple times that they could. \n\nThey actually wanted to charge me over $100 to re-install the system so they could sell it, basically cutting my refund by $100. I argued, the people were rude to me, and basically stated they were doing me a favor by ONLY charging me $100 to take it back. When I tried to point out the irrationality of it and how many times I asked to make sure that they would accept it, they just pointed back to their inability to make a profit of it and the need to have to re-install the system. \n\nThe store was dirty, the people were rude, and many of the items I did want were out of stock. Waste of my time and money.

The old Best Buy was horrible. Bad lot, bad building, bad service.

The new one... (much) better parking lot, nice looking building, but ... the same old service.

Crossing Hwy 100 is a rough challenge at any point, but at least they're now conveniently located at a light with a good sized parking lot.

Visited here to find a hard drive one day, showed as available and in stock on the web site at this store. Employees were completely unhelpful. One indicated that it would be out on the shelves. So I spend time looking for it. It wasn't - not even a spot for it. Ask another. He does a stock check, sees it in stock, and .. says to look on the shelves. Apparently too busy doing other stuff. It doesn't help that the shelves are rather disorganized and it isn't easy to determine where they're supposed to be, but again, look through the shelves, not finding a spot for it. Ask again, noting that it's supposedly in stock but that I've looked twice and haven't found it. Get shrugged off, "well, maybe we're out of it."

Get ticked off and leave. Later: it's still listed as in-stock by the website.

Best Buy can be a good source or it can be very frustrating. I've never really had good luck at this store, whether in its old incarnation or this one, and I think I'll be visiting other stores in the future.

When calling this store, I was placed on hold 14 times - for a total of almost 30 minutes - just to ask a simple question.

Due to high turnover rates in their staff, many of them do not know how to use their own computers to check stock levels.

The staff is generally friendly.

PROS: Good audio/below average computer component selection
CONS: Poor response to calls, sometimes don't meet delivery dates/times

This is a fairly decent store. They are always good about greeetin coming and and going customers. This is store is always it clean and well stocked. Great place to buy a computer. If you ever have a problem with your pc just bring it in and the service techs will be glad to look at you pc.
