Horrible horrible service. Will not return. We went there to celebrate our anniversary. The waitress made us feel cheap before we even sat down - trying to get someone else to take our table. Then she commented about how the entertainment coupons would apply to the specials - which we never inquired about in the first place and when we asked for drink refills she commented that they are not free. The price of a soda was $3.00 a piece! Our specials were also more than the website advertised. Not pleased. The food wasn't even good enough to make up for it. (For the record, I am a very generous tipper but after this she got 13% out of me and I felt I was being very kind)

We have been going to Alpine Village for some time and selected it for the site of our wedding reception. It is a nice affordable alternative to the higher priced locations downtown. We had a sitdown dinner and to this day everyone talks about the food. We had the kassler ribchen and a chicken dish. We had excellent service and they accommodated our requests. We also had a vegatarian selection.

The only part I did not like about the event was that I had guests ask for the vegatarian selection after they had already selected another dish on their reply card. The waitresses did not ask me if it was alright, they just gave them out so I ended up paying twice for some guests for the two meals they "ordered".

So to sum it up, the food is good, but be clear as to what you would like to happen. I also requested a nonsmoking reception and when I arrived I found ashtrays out and people smoking. We promptly removed the trays and made an announcement, but they shouldn't have been there to begin with.

We originally went to Alpine Village for their Mother's Day brunch. The organization was terrible. The food was late coming out, the line was in the way of the seating, the food was cold and we never saw our server to get refills on drinks. We will never go back there again.
