I was hesitant to come to this spa at first because of some of the negative reviews, but I decided to take a risk. OMG what a WONDERFUL place and decision on my part! A friend of mine who referred me here said "It's the little spa with a big heart" and that is absolutely true. I decided to treat myself to the Just For Him package that included a one hour massage, Gentleman's facial, and sport manicure.

First, my massage therapist was one of the best I've ever had and I am very picky. She detected right away that my upper back/neck was very tight. That is a great sign of a masseuse - someone that detects the knots and knows how to work them!

Next was my facial and lastly was my sport manicure. I was there for three hours. The whole experience was very relaxing and outstanding.

I HIGHLY recommend this as a place to go if you live in Madison or just traveling through for business. The staff is so welcoming and very friendly and better yet the services are awesome! I look forward to returning soon.

I recently went to the Oasis for the winterwonderland package. It was so nice, we had a great massage, both therapists were very strong and did an awesome job on listening and taking the time to focus on our sore spots. We then did a whirlpool together, we have bubbles and candles, very nice. Last we got a foot treatment, it was nice to be alone in the room and both therapists were very friendly and took care to give a good foot massage. Thanks for being there for us at the end of a busy year!!

Did not like the pedicure AT ALL!!!! The water was cold most of the time. She trimmed my toenails uneven and then did not file them to correct it. I am glad that I used a groupon for the services so that I did not have to pay the $60 for a bad pedicure. Probably won't go there again!!

I had a similar experience to another reviewer on this site. I purchased two Groupons as a gift for a family member. I called approximately three weeks before they were to expire, and the owner said there were "no Groupon appointments available." If we wanted them to honor the Groupon, we would have to pay an extra $25. I continued to ask her if they only allowed a certain number of "Groupon appointments" per day or per week, and she neglected to answer this question. In the end, I requested a refund from Groupon, and they complied.

Just yesterday, this business sent out another Groupon to Madison customers. I hope that this time they do not sell more Groupons than they are prepared to honor.

owner is rude and talks down to customers.... Does not honor Groupon coupons that were purchased. Called one month before expiration of coupon and was told that I had to pay $25 upcharge because they were completely booked until the coupon expired. Owner stated I should not have waited until the last minute to make a reservation. One month in advance??!! Not a single opening?! BS!

Oasis Day SPA is a joy to spend a little bit of "me" time at. The ease of making an appointment that's convenient for me and the calm welcoming receptionist starts the time off on a serene note. The setting also adds to the peaceful atmosphere. The therapist was amazing, accomodating my every request and personalizing my massage working on the areas where I needed relief. It was just an over-all pleasant experience, one that I would like to repeat over and over. Every attention is given to every desire. A must for all.

Well I have to say that the Oasis Day Spa made accomodations for me and my boyfriend who I was bringing up to the salon for a V-day surprise for a couples massage. We were coming down from Chicago for a concert and thought I'd add a little something extra into our weekend for him. We were running late, ran into traffic and due to my speeding, got a speeding tickets along the way. I did call the salon to let them know where I was throughout the 2 hour drive and can say that I was hoping for a stress free day as I had been awaiting this massage all week...but I was now stressed! They told me to relax and not to worry that they would figure something out that worked for us. Not sure if all salons would do that! Once we got there (an hour late), they offered us other services so that we didn't miss out on getting our treatments. A massage, a facial or a mani/pedi. The massage was great, Amy gave me a full body as requested and made sure to concentrate on my sore area on my neck. It may not have been the full hour but I didn't feel like she pushed me out of there either...I was 100% satisified. The mani/pedi was great as well, an expensive $80 mani/pedi but my boyfriend didn't want the facial. Although he was a guy, the girl giving him the treatment went as long as my massage did...I met him in the room to wait for her to finish up, before we went into the hot tub together so that was nice for him. The only thing I could say is, I wasn't expecting the hot tub to be a big bath tub. It was basically your home bathroom minus the toilet and the big tub with jets....but hey whatever. I was a mess the whole time still feeling disappointed that my plan hadn't worked and feeling bad that everyone had to accomodate us. The mani/pedi chick made a comment about wanting to go home to be with her kid but would stay another hour...Kinda think that if a spa is offering to do the service, thats it, no personal comments to the paying patrons, so yea I felt bad. So then I tried paying the bill with my inactivated credit card instead of the replacement they sent me so I'm sure I looked like a total blonde. Betsy at the front desk was AMAZING! From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left she had a calmness about her. She made us feel like everything was fine, perfect and that we were on time :-)..the way a spa should make you feel dispite my screw up and THEIR having to accomodate ME. So thank you Oasis Spa! I didn't throw money down the tubes in these hard times and we had a great time!!!! I would recommend Oasis to anyone.

I took my daughter to this salon as part of a mom-daughter day. I chose it mainly because it was open on Sunday, which was appreciated. Upon entering the salon, the receptionist was friendly. We had to wait about 5-10 minutes before a young woman appeared to ask if we'd been helped. This ended up being the technician who did our services. I was getting a pedi - my daughter a mani and pedi. My daughter went first. \r\n\r\nThe technician said barely two words to her the entire time. This did not appear to be someone who enjoyed her job; and maybe she didn't - but your clients shouldn't know that. My daughter was only 10 and was excited for this experience - not so after. When her toenails were drying and I sat down, she questioned if I had other services that day. I said my daughter was getting a mani, but I was only doing the pedi. She commented that the mani should have gone first so the nails could dry, as if this was my doing! I commented I only made the appt - she said, yes, the receptionist should have known this. Again, your client doesn't need to hear this.\r\n\r\nIt turned out I had a plantar wart on my foot I thought was only a callous. She commented that ""normally we don't do feet that have warts; but since I've already started I'll do it."" I understand the policy, I truly do, but there was a much more tactful way to communicate this. \r\n\r\nAgain, the talk was minimal - no conversation from her. When I was finished and my daughter started her manicure (with a much friendlier technician, thankfully) the original technician asked me if I wanted something to drink (isn't this usually done before your service is completed? Well at least she asked.). I asked for coffee - she came back and said sorry, no coffee had been made that day. To her credit, she later came back with coffee she had made. \r\n\r\nI paid $105 for these services, and I did tip 15%, because the quality of the actual nail service was good. But normally I would do 20% or more - I just felt like for a spa/salon, and having been to others, the customer service aspect was sorely lacking. I go to a spa for the total experience - otherwise I could do my nails at home.\r\n\r\nI would not return to this salon. They took my e-mail address so I thought they would be asking for my comments on my experience which I would be glad to share, but so far nothing.

in reference to "i want my money back" that is not the spa. the salon and spa are two seperate businesses. please get your information correct.
and the pedicure comment is just retarded. if you asked the girls to cool the water off they would. ive gotten many services there and i know some of the people that work there. they are always aiming to please. plus their hands are in the water, like they want to burn themselves or you. dumb

Thanks so much for taking care of us, it was last minute and Oasis Day Spa fit us in. We enjoyed 2 hour massages in the same room, private whirlpool tub, wine and bubbles. The staff is very friendly and willing to accommodate. Thanks for a great time!

What a horrible experience. I had my hair colored by a stylist who didn't seem to have a clue what she was doing. When she first finished my hair was an orangish-yellowish color... she was pretty proud of herself until I told her no way in hell was I leaving looking like that. She tried again and still could not fix it (and charged me for it too). At that point it had been 4 hours and I just wanted to leave. Also want to add that I've NEVER complained to a stylist about my hair, even when I was unsatisfied. The stylists here are very inexperienced, and your much better off going somewhere else. I recommend Hybrid Salon or William Jon Salon.

I have had a few friends that have gone here for a couples massage and loved it, but when I took my sister in law for her birthday we had manicures and pedicures done. Our water in the tub was clearly too hot as we could barely put our feet in and our skin was turning red and they didn't do anything about it. Overall the quality was good, and I would probably try again for a different service because my friends loved it so much.

I really have had good experiences at this spa. My husband and I have been to this spa many times for massages. They customize your massage to making it softer or harder if you desire. IF you tell them you have a problem with a certain area, they will work extra. They always make me really relaxed and comfortable.

PROS: Great massages
CONS: A little pricy, but average

This spa is now in the Princeton Club, and I am so glad that I found it! They offer a great range of services, but the couple's package and the European facial were my favorite! I haven't found a couples' massage in town before I found Oasis. It was so fun to to get a massage in the same room as my husband! \nI also haven't had such a thorough facial before. My skin was glowing! \nEveryone there was professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend it!
