Hwy 100 and Layton...

In recent times, McDonald's has been undergoing something of a renaissance into trying to become some odd upscale Starbucks-a-like, and in doing so, as a parent, I've been disappointed to see a number of nice playlands disappear. McDonald's seems to have forgotten that they have the playland market cornered... so anyways, I've decided to review some and share some hints for other parents.

This location has slowly been stripped of some of its playland components in recent years. At one time sporting a ball pit and a rope ladder climb, these elements have been removed, leaving a small set of tubes, money cage, and slide. The removal of the rope ladder climb was accomplished through the addition of a ladder tube, which is more difficult for really small kids, but probably a bit easier for everyone else - the rope ladder had been in poor condition. There is adequate seating inside the play area, and the restaurant itself is recently remodeled, with a new layout, seating, and tables. It would be nice if they'd figure out something interesting to do with the empty space that the ball pit used to occupy.
