This 100+ year old family tradition is a Denmark hallmark. Tucked away in the heart of the village, it it the favorite local destination for locals, and those fortunate enough from the surrounding area to have found it. One buddy of mine drives 50 miles every month or two for a family stop in. Small town friendly barkeeps and staff. Always busy. The old bowling alley is still operational and good for a private few throws while waiting for your party or food. Always good food. Lunch is what you would expect from a small town pub. Food quality is excellent. Evening Chicken is and has been their staple, with fish available every Friday. Individual take out dinners, or sit down all you can eat family style. This is a quaint and comfortable small town experience. If you are insistent for a more hoity-toity venue - don't bother scuffing up your wingtips. But if you want good food in a nice atmosphere, like your grandparents used to enjoy (and we younger locals still do!), in the heart of small town USA, then this is a must stop and try. If coming off I-43, exit at HWY 96 / KB / Denmark (exit 171) and head into town. Go about 1/2 mile straight into town, bottom of the hill to the 3-way "Y" intersection. Turn left and its in that block on your left. Plenty of street parking, or across the street. Quiet town.

I visited Suster's Arcade for bowling and found it to be a little outdated. The bowling alley was not the cleanest that I have ever seen. There were food and drinks laying around. It turned me off a bit. The bowling balls that they had to offer were also old and some of them looked like they were chipped. When you think of arcade you think f fun and games. There were not many games, which was a great dissappointment to the kids. The bathrooms were anything but clean. I would not go here again.
