The manager is a piece of crap.. Stands behind a sales man that sold me a bed...box spring & mattress when they knew you cant use a box spring with that bed...30% re stocking fee. 2 prices on EVERYTHING..Piece of Crap I tell you!

I bought a living room set and bedroom set. On my new gray couches, you could see the white cushions underneath. According to Colders, this is how ALL couches are made. Funny how this is the first time I've ever seen this.

With the bedroom set, I also bought a mattress ($1200) and two nightstands. The mattress flattened after less than a week. And one of the "new" nightstands had ink stains on the felt inside the drawer. They wanted to blame the stains on me, but I had proof...they left a note inside the drawer saying they were ordering a new drawer...that was over a year ago. They agreed to order another drawer. After 8 weeks of waiting, I had my husband call and they claim the drawer is on "backorder". And how long is this going to be?

Bottom line...don't buy from Colders. Like another reviewer said, go to Steinhafels. I bought my dining room set and daughter's bedroom set from Steinhafels and had absolutely no issues with them.

This is the worst business in SE Wisconsin. Customer Non-Service is just that. The LR set we bought less than 60 days ago for almost $2K has flat cushions already....great quality (NOT!) Their quality and customer service is horrible. I am sorry that i ever recommended them to anyone. We are putting the shotty furniture on the curb this weekend and we will go to Steinhafels (where I should have gone in the first place)to buy a quality set, perhaps i should sue to get some of my money back. If i provided this type of service at my company I would be fired, so should the furniture manager at Colders'. Let's see if you have the courage to respond, it would be the first return call I have gotten!

Great deal on furniture and enjoying the furniture. Poor customer service! The delivery guys were helpful but forgot to tell me that they ran over my light pole. Difficult to get Colder's to resolve the problem and made many phone calls. They miscommunicated a piece I was to get as well. When inquired where it is, got very poor customer service and took several phone calls as well. Doesn't seem they care very much.

My husband and I purchased a chair, love seat and ottoman in late march and it was delivered in early May. Upon delivery we noticed the ottoman fabric was damaged and looked completely different than the two other pieces we received. Colders took pictures and said they would get us a new ottoman and would call us when it arrived, this could be up to 4-6 weeks. Mid June approached and no phone call. It was now past 6 weeks. I called and customer service notified me that "yes" the new ottoman came it but parts were missing and they have a new one on rush order and will call us when it comes in. Again another two weeks passed no phone call. I decided to call our Sales person Jerod (Grafton location) hoping he could get me some answers. When Jerod returned my phone call it was as if I was bothering him and he reminded me that, "I am just the sales rep and have nothing to do with the customer service side" I said, "I realize this but I am frustrated and you said during our sale that if we have any problems to feel free to give you a call. So I am." He said he would see what he could find out and would call me back. Well two days passed, Jerod never called. I did receive a phone call from a customer service rep stating the ottoman was in and when could we set up a time for them to come deliver it . The earliest they could get to us was July 15th. Great July 15th is was.! On July 14th we receive a phone call stating that again they do not have all the parts to our ottoman and they have put a rush on the order. "We should hear from them in 2 weeks" I felt compelled to share this and would not recommend colder's in the future. Their lack of follow up and poor customer service has really given me a back taste for them!

i recently bought a leather sofa and loveseat for my son who was moving into his first apartment. i am verrry price conscious, colders had the best price/quality i could find. i am the typical milwaukeean, i will spend $10 driving around to save $5.00. i was so pleased with my experience that i also got another set for my newly married daughter. i will definitely go back again.

My experience was fantastic. We shopped American, Ashley, Steinhafels and Colders. We narrowed our purchase of a new living rooom set down to Steinhafels and Colders. We had purchased from both before and found the quality and service to be about the same. We decided to purchase our furniture from Colders this time and were quite pleased with the quality,price and the service. The delivery guys were great they delivered it the next day on time and even moved our old sofa to the garage for us.
I would buy again from Colders.

Why do they call it customer service? There is none. You buy from them and they don't know where your product is, when they will have it, when you will have it. Needless to say I have been sleeping in my spare room for 10 weeks due to getting junk delivered and going through a nightmare to have it replaced. NEVER will I shop there again.

This company is a machine of lies and unfulfilled promises.
I bought a sofa and when they delivered it the delivery kids said it wouldn't fit in the area that I wanted it in. They never even took it off the truck to try it. I asked for a my account to be credited and they said I could only have an in store credit. They will not give me my money back. Never Never trust this company - It will cost you.

I was shocked to read some of these reviews. I recently returned to the Colder's in Oak Creek, WI and purchased an additional dresser to go along with the apartment full of furniture I purchased this past April 2009. My sales person's name is Stan he is a great guy to work with. I had a couple of issues with some of the bedroom furniture I purchased in April 09 being too large for the bedroom. Stan talked to his manager and I was able to exchange it for something else. I received such good service that I recommended my son and daughter-in-law go to Stan also, they did and were very satisfied with their special order furniture.

NEVER AGAIN!! We specially ordered a loveseat and couch on Septemper 23, 09 at the Colder's in Oak Creek, WI and it is now November 16, 09. The salesperson told my husband and I it would take up to six weeks to recieve the set. Well, six weeks has passed and no furniture. Calling them on the status of it remains fruitlessly. All that comes out of their mouths are lies and the date keeps being pushed forward. My husband just called them and they told him sometime in December. What the he!! is going on?? I will be calling the Better Business Bereau. Maybe then we'll get our furniture.

BEWARE and be on your guard with these people.

They had such a good sale! Whatever you buy you get an equal amount to spend in the store for FREE! I was hooked!
But then I had to place an order to get the fabric that I wanted!
This I do not advise.
I couldn't get my money back and the furniture delivery kept getting set back. Well over 2 months later I finally recieved my purchase.

I have bought an office table with two drawers from Colder's furniture. The Drawers are thin and on the side with a keyboard drawer in the center.

The drawer is secured by around 10 small screws which are quarter of an inch long.

After I loaded up the drawer with usual office stuff, staplers, pins, pens etc, nothing too fancy but meant that the drawers needed to be opened to be used, the screws started to fall, until within one month the drawer came into my hand, and then fell to the floor.

I looked beneath and saw that the wood beneath the good finish was of very very poor quality. And the screws which held the drawer railing had eaten through the wood and left huge holes.

I realizing the enormity of the task of shipping the whole desk back to Colder's repaired it myself by putting the screws in new spots.

I stopped using the drawers since then using it seldom. Even with the minimum use the screws are falling apart again and I hear one drop every few days to weeks.

I just heard one more drop now and prompted me to write this review.

I would not recommend Colder's to anyone as their are better options for furniture close by.

We paid alot of money for Our living room set , 5,000 plus and our set was about 3 yr old weI had to take to service and have work done to it. It cost me 200 plus . not happy what so ever I do not know if Colders will ever get any of OUR business ever again. very upset .

Colders has a big selection of furniture for any room in your home.They have some real nice sales. The salespeople that I have dealt with were very nice. It is a nice big store.
