Every week my family and I come to visit this restaurant every so often. The food is great and they have a wide variety of foods and desserts. The food is delicious and I would definitely recommend coming here.

I absolutely LOVE this Chinese buffet! I've eaten here countless times and always leave stuffed. I always look forward to the Lo Mein noodles and steamed dumplings. Many of the chicken dishes are good as well. When I can get them, I grab the crab legs. Always good stuff! The fried rice is tasty. A good finish to the feast is always one or two of the sugar doughnuts!

After jonesing for some Chinese food the last few days I read some reviews about this place and decided to check it out for lunch. Taking a reviewer's advice, I showed up at around 11:20 to find the place moderately packed already. The parking lot in the back was nearly full and is unfortunately only accessible if you're going north on HWY 100.

To start off with, the price can't be beat. I think it was like $7.50 for lunch buffet which included a soda or beverage. They had soda and other stuff like iced tea, juice and I think Horchata. I stuck with the Pepsi. They also had desserts like cake and brownies and ice cream, which I didn't opt to try out.

I usually eat my Chinese buffets like this: 1 plate of appetizers, 1 plate of entrees, and a final plate of dessert and possibly another few appetizers. The appetizers were decent, the entrees were poor and the dessert (Chinese donuts) were good. I was disappointed that the sauces I had to use were the ones found at take-out places (hot mustard and duck/sweet and sour sauce). The only sauces they had for their food was a watery Egg Foo Yung gravy and that neon red sweet and sour sauce. I like plum sauce for my fried or steamed dumplings (the only sketchy/poor appetizer I had) and it was not to be found. I had a portion of the General Tso's Chicken and it was literally all gristle and breading. I didn't finish it.

I will admit that I am spoiled after years of a once or twice yearly stop at China Gourmet downtown. This is the best and most consistently good Chinese food buffet in Milwaukee. They may not have 5 rows of food and 35 different desserts but everything is always fresh, good and reasonably priced.

I guess you get what you pay for. The place is probably good for a family to eat cheap (I was impressed by the graduated price scale depending on how old a child is) but I can't say that I'll be stopping in again. Quantity does not beat quality.

My family and I visit New China almost every Saturday. We prefer to do lunch right after 11 a.m. It's not yet busy, but the food is hot and plentiful.

The selection is so varied that I've hosted parties here (graduation celebrations, birthdays, etc.)--there's American food for the kids (chicken nuggets, pizza, corn) and great Chinese foods for the adults.

The price includes desserts and beverages. Great parking, with entrances/exits off both Highway 100 and National Avenue.

The best time to go is a rush hour.. lunch dinner or sunday. the food is always fresh at those hours, and they cook the food to my perfection. I go there at least twice a month because I enjoy it soo much. the poeple are friendly and pick up the plates as soon as you are finished with it.. you serve yourself.

Do NOT go after 7pm. The food will be old, cold, and dry.

Do NOT go expecting to eat crab legs. They bring out a dozen every twenty minutes. And they are water logged and nasty. EEK!!!

Other than that, the food is really good. :)

This place has a huge buffet. Shumai is good, nothing else is. The cashier barely looked up from their web browsing to take the money. The buspeople with their carts slam dishes constantly, ruining any peace. All the food was rather taseless.
