Playroom Closet

I had a recent poor experience with unprofessional behavior on the part of a staff member. I usually enjoy shopping in this store--they are clean, well-organized, have good variety, and fair prices. However, I am presently thinking of taking my business elsewhere because of the rude treatment I received.

I have been going to this store since my first child was born in 2001 and have told many people to shop there as well. I love that you can find pretty much anything you need for your children,grandchildren,ext.. Everything is in excellent condition and pretty fair priced. I would of given the store a five out of five but had to instead give a three because the staff (including the owner) are just terrible. They have never been friendly or helpful and most times seem uninterested in waiting on me. If they had a friendlier staff and normal hours ( I'm sorry but the hours are not convenient) It would be the best children's store around. As for the comment about them being racist,the owner does have bi-racial grandchildren so I don't believe that's the case. I think its just because they are rude in general.

Went in to buy a bike for my son and had a great experience...the owner personally helped me select the right bike and she had a lot of knowledge on all the merchandise in her store. I noticed that the store has just about anything and everything you can imagine for kids. THANK YOU!!!!

I have three children and as we all know dressing that many kids can be expensive! I know that I can count on the Playroom Closet to come through with outfits for all three of my little ones at a fraction of what they would cost brand new. But the secret is the quality of the items at the Playroom Closet! They are just as good as brand new!
There isn't anything your kids need that you can't find there. It's my favorite store.

I tell everyone about this store. I find it to have the most selection, best brands, and prices. I keep going back despite the customer service. This surprises me because you would think being a small business they would be more aware of this.

I've been a loyal customer to Playroon Closet for over 10 years. I've given their business card to many new moms. They have an outstanding selection and are extremely organized. I have been consigning with them for years and feel that they give fair prices. They also give you several options regarding payment and items that they are unable to sell. I tried consigning with other places prior to Playroom Closet and Playroom Closet seemed far better than most. I do agree that the ladies are not the most outgoing and welcoming but they know me and are always very helpful.

I have been going to this shop for years. It is very organized and they only accept items in excellent shape. The girls are very helpful and are well knowledged on their merchandise. My niece from another state asks to go to playroom closet to shop because the clothes are so cool. The consignments are a great option too!

I have been going to the Playroom Closet for several years and would recommend the store highly. The selection is amazing and it is extremely organized. The store owner has helped me and is extremely knowledgable about all the equipment and toys that I have bought for my daycare. I recommend it to all my friends. You will not find a better selection. As for the racist remarks left by the previous person that is absolutely absurd and way off the mark as the owner's grandchildren are african american and are often at the store.

I think playroom closet is an excellent resale kids store I shop there often for my daycare learning material,although this is a good resale store the staff has no customer service at least when it comes to african american i've told some clients about the store and they went to purchase some items the staff did'nt say hello or have a nice day after they checked out ,but my client did notice when a cacasian walked in it was hi how are u today let me know if you need any help, i do'nt want to think that the staff is racist i just want the same service as very one els that comes through those doors

This is a very nice children's used clothing, toy and furniture store. Most of the items are in very good to like new condition and the prices are mostly competitive with other resale shops of its kind. But occasionally there will be some things there that I feel have been overpriced for something that has already been used.

Since I've been going there, I've found lots of really cute things for my granddaughter, in very good condition, and not too expensive. So she gets things that look almost new and have lots of life left in them, but I don't have to pay retail prices to get them. Just an FYI - Some of the sizes, and the really good things, sell out really quickly so you need to check back frequently.

PROS: Lots of gently used kid's items in very good condition
CONS: If you bring items in for consignment, don't expect to get much $ for them

This store has a great selection and you can find some good deals but you have to catch them at just the right time. They are not terribly expensive, but you would expect to pay less if you are buying used items. They also do not pay very well when you drop items off their to be sold. You are better off selling them at a rummage sale, you will make more money. I find their store hours to be pretty skimpy too. They are definitely not customer friendly in that department.

Playroom Closet in West Allis carries a wide variety of children's clothes and accessories. The items that they do carry are of good used quality. The prices are comparable to other resale shops in the area for similar items. I was able to find quite a few clothes in my son's size range that I felt were in great condition and were a decent price. The store is laid out well and it is easy to find the sizes that you are in search of.

Huge consignment store with kids clothes, toys and furniture. Great selection at reasonable prices. Carries larger boy and girl clothes as well as small sizes.

LOOKING FOR A BARGIN? TRY OUT THIS CONSIGNMENT STORE. THEY HAVE TOYS, CLOTHES, BEDS CRIBS ETC ALL IN VERY NICE CONDITION, AT VERY REASONABLE PRICES. BRING IN YOUR OLD STUFF AND GET NEW STUFF.

They have everything you want and yes it is used but they are very nice looking used stuff there. they have everything for a child in that place and more. i highly recommend them
