Great service at this cafe. Best chicken salad i've ever had! Friendly staff with a welcoming atmophere.

With a great selection of coffees, fresh salads, breads, quiches and gourmet breakfast omlettes, the One-Way Cafe is a wonderfully hidden part of the Wauwatosa Village. While difficult to find (it literally is on a one-way street), there is reasonably good parking and plenty of seating along with free wi-fi.

The omlette selection is one of my favorites--very unique items such as sour cream and leaks. Portions are generous and fairly priced. (A "side" portion would be nice, though that's not part of the menu quite yet.) Note that it does get a bit warm (I'm not sure if they have air conditioning). But it's not stiffling hot.

With a few updates and menu tweaks, this could be one of the best breakfast places in Milwaukee.

Pros: Unique menu items, great "cafe" feel

Cons: Need more menu flexibility (e.g. smaller portions of sides)
