"Recently changed the name of the restaurant to: Changes.

We had five family members and found this restaurant to be centrally located for the group on a Saturday evening. The food was decent for the price (meals ordered: ribs, fish fry, broiled cod, chicken quesadilla, and steak) and our server was attentive.

However, we won't go back for one simple reason...the owner of this establishment obviously doesn't care about the health of his staff & patrons. There were four or five people sitting at the bar (which is directly adjacent to the dining room) smoking away. Our meals were ruined along with our clothes & hair saturated by the blue haze. It's pretty sad state of affairs when you can't enjoy a meal without having to breathe toxic fumes. Hopefully, the few drinks purchased by the smokers outweighed the revenue generated by our table (~$90) because we'll never be back until they decide to respect their patrons & staff with a strict no smoking policy."

Pros: Decent food for decent price

Cons: Too many smokers to go back

We've eaten at Roberts several times in the past. The food was usually quite good. But our to-go order tonight was a pitiful excuse for edible food. The Chicken Caesar Salad was comprised of a few sorry chunks of dark-only chicken, no-doubt the scavaged remains of yesterday's chicken dinner. These random pieces lay strewn on a bed of largely transparent pastel green lettuce: no cheese, no crotons, one lonely slice of tomato. Last I heard Italian dressing out of a bottle was not the same as Caesar dressing. The 'hard roll' was a hamburger bun. My four year old grandson could have made a better salad. To add insult to injury, my wife's Reuben sandwich lay limp in the take-out box as if it had wilted on the back porch. The corned beef was uniformly thin-sliced, as if it had been taken directly from a plastic pouch of pseudo-sandwich meat. Both of us gave up half way through this disaster. The highlight of the meal was the generic brand of Neapolitan ice cream I got at Walgreen's on the way home from Roberts.

Robert's is the perfect place for drinks and a light meal. They are basically a soup and sandwich place but they do that well. The building has a lot of old world charm. They serve fish fries too which are pretty good.

nice selection of sandwiches; fish fry on Friday; has European feel but casual dining; great place to meet for dinner/drinks; parking lot is filled quickly but plenty of street parking is available
