Tumbleweedz Learning Ctr

I find it very funny that all these reviews were written at the same time, almost as if it were "planned". I toured this center and others in town and my "gut" feeling towards this center was not good. Take a look online and see the many writes ups by the State of Wisconsin Family and Health Services. Currently this center has 6 actions against them by the State of Wisconsin. If your looking for quality child care keep looking Tumbleweedz is anything but quality.

Our 2 daughters have attended Tumbleweedz for the past year and we have been extremely pleased. The teachers are warm and friendly, and establish a great rapport with the children. Each day is filled with education, arts/crafts, good food and lots of fun. The summer frenzy program is great for both my preschooler and my school-aged daughter. They go on many wonderful field trips, as well as have special "themed" days at the center. My daughters are never hesistant to get up and go to Tumbleweedz because they have so much fun each day they're there. I would highly recommend this facility!

Tumbleweedz is truly a learning center that fosters an excellent balance between a structured learning environment and fun activities for the children. They help provide additional building blocks for social development and the daily notes are a great way to learn about your childs day. Most importantly, it's comforting to know that my child is receiving quality care in a safe environment.

Unfortunately, I had to retract my previously positive review. For reasons that are too personal to mention on-line, I would definitely not recommend this preschool to anyone.

Tumbleweedz is a daycare that extends beyond it's walls. With the Summer Frenzy program, the kids are constantly on the move! Whether they are on a field trip to a museum, the aquatic center, golfing, or riding their bikes and scooters, the kids are constantly busy. Regardless of the season, the kids spend a large portion of each day playing outside, as opposed to just watching videos until pick up time.

Knowing the kids are well-fed, and safe, is a very comforting feeling also!

My 2 children have been attending Tumbleweedz for about 2.5 years now and we couldn't be happier with them! We had tried another daycare center in town previously, but never quite felt comfortable with the constantly changing staff who never seemed too happy to be there. Many of the teachers at Tumbleweedz have been there for years so our children feel comfortable with all of them and just love going! And I love the home-cooked meals and the variation in the healthy foods they serve (even though I too have faced the "this isn't as good as Ms. Judy's" at home). Most importantly, the staff makes each child feel special and cared for, which makes us as parents feel good about leaving our children in their care.

Our daughter has now outgrown the need for daycare, but we were one of the very first customers at Tumbleweedz and I continue to stay in touch with the staff. You hear horror stories in the news about daycare centers not even following the most basic safety rules - there is no need to worry at Tumbleweedz, because Jane and her staff will keep make your child's safety is #1 in importance. As a bonus, the center provides homecooked meals that often vary from the basic hot dog/mac & cheese fare. I still smile when I recall my daughter insisting that I get Ms. Judy's recipe for her broccoli & rice...and she's still a huge fan of the root beer floats.

Jane and her staff at Tumbleweedz really offer quality care. They went out of their way to make sure my children had a fun time and I had the reassurance and peace of mind knowing they were in a caring environment. The center is up to date, clean and organized- and the teachers work as a team! I definitely recommend Tumbleweedz for excellence in child care.
