I have to say unlike the other person this is some of the best Chinese food on the south side other than Fortune on Hwy 100 & Oklahoma. If you like a bit on the wild side be prepared the Salt & pepper chicken, or Scallops or shrimp you have to try this. Egg rolls are excellent they are made with peanut butter so allergy beware. The place smells a bit weird because it is not masked by glade. The personnel is touch and go, but the lunch menu is great. Give it a try again you may want to change your mind.

My boyfriend got called in to work so I decided to get some Chinese... I wanted to try somewhere close so I called Chai Garden for carry-out. The girl on the phone was short with me. When I got there, the place stunk like a mix of some gross stir fry sauce and dirty mop water. I was happy my food was ready on time, but when I got it home, I realized part of that bad smell in the restaurant was my food. I couldn't even finish my meal. The crab rangoon was definitely the ones from the freezer section - and weren't even cooked right. And on top of all this, I paid $18 for food I threw out!!!

Cons: expensive for what you get, just doesn't taste good!
