AWFUL, HORRIBLE, NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE. Earlier last week, I went online to review the menu and to see if anything came with the "all you can eat crab legs." The price listed was still 26.95 which I didn't think was horrible. My friends and I went Sunday night, thinking hey this will be awesome bc it was during the packer game and knew it would be quieter. Ha, joke on us. Yes quiet, but boy did we get ticked! We sat down, and within the little plastic table top specials, the crab leg dinner priced at 39,99. Funny, this was written on tape, simply placed over the original printed price. I removed that piece of tape, only to find another right beneath it, yet you could still see the $26.95 under both of those prices. I immediately told the waitress we needed another minute to even think of staying here. Yes authentic mexican, stay focused on your food, because the atmosphere is ghetto garbage and no wonder you are loosing business. So versus spending 120. for all you can eat crab legs, we went downtown and ate a 5star restaurant with drinks all under 120.00 Idiots. Service sucked too. ~ good luck. Simply is not what I remember from a few years ago! THEY CLEARLY HIKE THEIR PRICES UP WHEN NEEDED!

So I took my boyfriend out to eat for Fathers day at Las Palmas, when we got there we were greeted very friendly but our waiter was rude. I had ordered off the menu and it was okay but I didnt finish it so I packed it home but my BF got the ALL YOU CAN EAT. I gotta tell you its freakin EXPENSIVE if i knew that we wouldnt even eat there. It was 27 dollars just for those crab legs and some were over cooked. You couldnt even share the food, alot of people who do go to restaurants do share there food esp. couples, that they losing business in that even though they are taxing for the legs. The WORST thing about eating there is that they charge you 15% gratuity on every table even if you are under the party of 6. We were bill 7 dollars for gratuity, I couldnt believe that only us two were billed for that much. I had better food and services for under 50 dollars. Let me tell you I have eaten at really good places and have known to cook really good food for all kinds of people but for this much. Im not even cheap and work two jobs and Im complaining about 15% gratuity. I wouldnt even tip 7 dollars for two ppl at a table exp. with bad services. Oh and when I wanted to pack my food to go they rushed to give us the bill when my bf wasnt even finish with his ALL YOU CAN EAT CRAB LEGS, he still wanted another bucket. The place was busy with ppl but the ppl that was there before was still eating their food but we were rushed from the waiter to leave. By the time we finished our food no one else was really there but the ones who were there before us. WTH kind of services was that and plus my 7 dollars 15% gratuity too... I would never go there again and never refer that place to anyone and tell everybody how they charge so much for not even being up scale. FYI if someone that knows these ppl or work there tell your owner who suppose to be under new management to take that 15% gratuity off every table even if its under 6 ppl at a table. Las Palmas is not even upscale nor in a RICH neighborhood to even tax that much. Thank you but never will i return again to that place. You guys just losted alot of business by me even writing a review and if any one of you guys who do read this and feel the need to write me back please do so. I would glady go in details on to why you SHOULDN'T go there

they DO have all you can eat crab again - which is why I went last night with my husband. I found an article on milwaukee.com about 'cheap eats' and they listed Las Palmas for crab legs.
I wish I would have called ahead - the 'all you can eat' was $26.98 per person....not exactly a CHEAP eat, but we had driven out there and decided to try it.
The first bucket was really good - the legs were clean, claws were large and everything tasted good. The next bucket was completely different, brown smaller legs with lots of algae on them.
Tasted like potato water, and could've used a few minutes more in the steamer.
Not awful, but not a place I would recommend or visit again. It was a mexican restaurant, but their chips were horrible and seemed store bought. The staff was standing around dancing and talking at the bar, but service was ok.
You should also know that they charge 15% gratuity automatically on every bill.

I've been going to Las Palmas with my cousin for a few
years now for their all you can eat crab. They don't
offer this anymore, but probably for the better. Towards
the end the food quality became almost inedible. The
service was the worst I've every experienced in the
50 years of dining in Milwaukee.

This is for the Las Palmas on 68th & Forest Home Ave. Went here for my sister's birthday - group of 10. We arrived early at 4:30 to avoid the crowds. Everyone ordered drinks as they arrived - all within 10 minutes - but no one received drinks until nearly 5pm - it took 20 minutes to get a soda! For some reason we had THREE waitresses, and none of them knew what was going on. We finally got menus at 5 o'clock, ordered 20 minutes later, and got our dinners at 6 o'clock!!! When the food came, it was a huge disappointment. The meat in my taco salad was cold, and had no flavor. My nephew ordered steak chimichangas and got shredded beef. The cup of sour cream on his plate was warmer than the meat. My mother got chicken when she ordered beef. The beans had a weird skin on them, like they'd been reheated more than once. It was GROSS!!! We complained to the owner and she never even bothered to come to our table. In the end we were charged for drinks we never received and food that tasted like crap! STAY CLEAR OF LAS PALMAS!!! Don't waste your time and money, or risk your stomach!

My daughter and I went to Las Palmas last night and were very unpleased. When we got there the waiter told us that there were no longer all you can eat crab. He tried to assure us that the quality was better and the bucket was enough for both of us. Well, it was neither. The crab legs were luke warm and a lot smaller then they were before. For $26.95 I expected more. Also, the waiter was horrible he never came by to check to see if we needed anything. He just sat at the bar and smoked. I will not be back. If anyone wants all you can eat crab go to either Paulies or Painted Parrot.

A mexican restaurant serving All You Can Eat crablegs? I was skeptical at first - but I figured all the people ahead of me on the waiting list knew better. They open at 4pm - best to avoid the crowd. The staff replenishes your crab "bucket" promptly...as well as lemons/melted butter/napkins/drinks.

I love Las Palmas!!! I'm so glad my friends and I found this place for all you can eat crab nights and mexican food! It was delicious and the portions are huge! We went on a Wednesday night for crab and it was packed! So get there early and claim your seat, otherwise wait at the full bar and have some fantastic margaritas. Also, I heard thru the grapevine that the owner's opening up another restaurant featuring steaks and lobster - can't wait!!! We'll definitely be there!

Pros: great food!, great prices!, great service!

The best Mexican food I've ever had! This place is extremely popular, people come from all over to enjoy this little restaurant in West Allis. The food is great, the prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is fun, and the staff is exceptional. All you can eat Crab nights are Wed, Sat, and Sun, avoid the restaurant on these nights or go early, because it is packed and the wait is ridiculous. This restaurant has a fun bar attached with big screen TVs and they also host karaoke some nights. Parking is not usually a problem.

PROS: great food, good prices, good staff
CONS: very crowded on Crab nights, very long wait

Las Palmas is truly an authentic experience. Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays they have one of the best all-you-can-eat crab legs I've ever had. And at 19.95 it's really a great deal. And they're crab soup iss to-die-for! A must have! My fav though is they're fajitas. Sizzling and oh so good, you must try. All-in-all Las Palmas has excellent food and great service.

Las Palmas has incredible Mexican food at a VERY affordable price (the food and prices rival that of La Fuente AND La Perla, in my opinion!), but the true stars here are the $14.95 all-u-can-eat crab legs on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings (4pm - midnite). You've never had such big, red, succulent legs that melt in your mouth when you eat them. To enhance your dining experience, order a margarita (2-for-1 before 7pm), and you HAVE TO try the Crab Soup as your side instead of the salad or rice & beans!!!

The options for all-you-can-eat crab are getting rather slim... many places are no longer offering this on...
