Do It Yourself Bathroom Ctr

Have been to the store several times. Staff seem knowledgeable but the prices seem high compared to other local stores. Bought a commode and we are very happy with it.. Would recommend.

I had the most awful experience with Do It Yourself Bath Center. We just purchased a home with our 3 children and were remodling our bathroom. So we figured if we ordered a product we really liked more than a month in advance we would be fine. Boy were we ever wrong. I ordered my vanity on 1/17/08. Bob told me the truck was shipping from Iowa on 2/11/08 and would get to their store no later than 2/14/08. We knew this would be a problem if it wasn??t shipped on time due to us moving into our new home in a month. Bob told me not to worry and assured me that they would have our order at their store by that date. We started moving into our home on 2/11/08 and obviously couldn??t wait to get our vanity and sink in since we really needed it. When the date came around, I never received a call from them. So, I took it upon myself to call. Bob gave me different stories. First he told me the truck didn't go out because of the timing the order was placed. Then he told me that Bertch Co. hadn't even stared making my order because they got too many unanticipated orders to fill. Said it probably wouldn't ship out until 2/25/08. I was livid. So then he sends his wife to see if they had the vanity I specialed ordered in stock (DUH, how could that be?). Get this, she came back with someone elses order and they were going to give it to me. CAN U BELIEVE THAT??? Then, it wasn't even close to what I even ordered. Everything from the size, color, style and finish was completely off. I told Bob this was really putting me in a bad postion because we just moved in the house with our 3 children and now we have no sink. He just looked at me and said nothing. Bob even gave me a hard time about refunding my $ back. Finally after an hour of my time wasted I finally got my refund back. No apology or anything. Then Bob makes the comment that he has my credit card # in their machine and if he wants it he could get it. I'll tell you this much, that whole place will be sorry if they try to mess with my $. Just to let you know, the sales guy and owner of named Bob. This was the sales guy (supposedly). Haven??t talked to the owner yet so looking forward to that conversation.

What kind of business doesn't post hours, has no website, doesn't answer phone or have an answering machine if closed on Sunday? Not driving all the way there if they can't even answer phone.

We recently remodeled our bathrooms and kitchen and went to Do it Yourself Bathroom and we would go there again. We saved a lot of money by shopping with them. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. They have all the latest brands and makes, and if they don't have it in stock, they can order it for you. I would definitely shop there again.
