Willow Creek Bowling Lanes

Willow Creek Lanes is extremely family friendly. The person that wrote the negative review probably tried to come bowling on a Sat. or Sun. between the months of Feb. and May, which is when the Willow Creek Classic tournament is going on. It is a nationally known tournament that is held every weekend in those months from 11:00-9:00. Willow Creek Lanes has gotten nothing but great reviews on other sites such as Bowling2u.com. If you want a real review of the place go there. I've bowled there for years and I've never seen the place look as good as it does now. The staff all have upbeat possitive attitudes and they make you feel like you are their only customer. And as for the smoke . . . its a bowling ali. If you don't want smoke then take the kids to Chucky Cheese. Until the no smoking law is passed you can't expect a business to discriminate against anyone. And actually I believe that during family open bowling on the weekends (when the tournament isn't going on), smoking is only allowed in the bar/lounge area. And in reality the smoke isn't that bad during those open bowling hours. I think it is a great place to bring the family. Very FUN!

Our family has tried on three different occasions when we've felt like bowling to get in and each time we couldn't. It seems that this is a popular location for league bowling and games, which makes it impossible to just drop in. Saturdays (even afternoons) are too busy and this location doesn't seem family friendly. Also, smoking is allowed and that makes it unattractive. If we finally have a pleasant experience here I'll update this review...until then this stands as would not recommend.
