My husband and 3 kids went to the Red Rooster on a Friday night. I agree with the other reviewer, the bartender was absolutely rude and very put out by any questions that we had. We asked for a childrens menu and she said that they don't have childrens menu, which is a lie, because we have been there before. So, my husband had to ask another employee for the childrens menu. We had to wait over an hour for our food, after asking several times what the whole up was. By the time we received our food 1.5 hours later, the restaurant was empty and our food was cold and the buns were hard as rocks. We weren't about to choke down cold food, so we sent it back and told them we didn't want anything else. Needless to say we had to stop at Culvers on our way home.

I was visiting the area on a presscheck, and one of the workers at the plant recommended the Red Rooster for a good Friday fish fry. I was not disappointed. I ordered the Walleye and it was perfectly cooked, a generous serving and fresh. Much better than the dozen or so places I've tried in the area on previous visits. In fact, the quality of the fish was the kind of meal I'd pay twice as much for back in California. The waitress was friendly and professional, the Brewers game was on the big screens ... I saw a dozen people come by for takeout orders, so I'm not alone in liking their food. I'll definitely be back to try the perch and blue gill.

I would not recommend this bar to anyone under the age of 40. The bartender was rude and only seemed to care about the customers that come in 6 nights a week. She refused to sell a pitcher of beer to my friend because she was being "disrespectful" to a loyal customer when discussing the outcome of the up coming Super Bowl (nothing you wouldn't expect to hear at a bar, the night before the Super Bowl). Now, the bartender could have politely told my friend that she would not serve her. However, she handed my friend a receipt for $0 and walked away. This did not go over well with the group we were with. When we questioned her, she said the owners son was here and agreed with her decision.

Whether it was a good decision at the time is at the discretion of the bartender and the owners son, but it certainly was a poor business decision.

Do not go to this establishment to do anything else but eat. Pewaukee cops sit and wait for people coming out and arrest them for drunk driving. We witnessed it in person. Don't even have 2 drinks because you will blow and be nailed.

We went to Andrea's Red Rooster for the fish fry this evening. We were seated at 6:45 pm and the restaurant was not that busy so we did not anticipate a long wait. Boy were we wrong! We saw 3 tables get seated after us and they were all served pretty promptly. However, we continued to sit there completely unacknowledged. The waitress or hostess never once looked in our direction (we were trying to get their attention). The table of 6 next to us got drinks and water and we still had not been even looked at. I managed to flag the hostess (I had to shout as she walked away) and told her we hadn't been served yet (it was now more than 20 minutes since we were seated). She muttered something about seeing where the waitress was and then went to continue seating customers. The waitress was now bringing dinners to the table of 6 who were seated almost 10 minutes after us. We still didn't even have water and the waitress somehow managed to never even glance in our direction. After 35 minutes of sitting there completely ignored, we got up and left and went to Cousin's for dinner. What a dissapointment!

This is a typical bar/pub setup but it's a little roomier than most and the drinks don't seem to be that expensive. The menu is based around appetizers, but the appetizers are good and good companions to drinking.

This restaurant has turned itself from mediocre to a great place for good food, meeting friends and having fun. With their updated parking area, the outside seating and dining area as well as the fine service, this should be a stop for everyone.
