Carpet was OK, installers were good, and customer service was awful. Salesman Thomas Chappell lied about calling me to inform me of a $80 price increase from his quote. As a matter of fact, he never called or returned any one of my 3 calls to him. I do not recommend them, and will never go back. Document everything with them and even then, really watch them. On second thought, just go elsewhere.

We were shopping for new floors for our house. We drove past carpetland and found hardwood floors and carpet. The price's were the best in town. We shopped at 5 places to find out they were the best. The floors were installed last week and look great. The installers were very nice and cleaned up when they were done... Also our salesman was Paul Haight who made it very easy to pick out the floors. Thanks Carpetland

In 2004, we had almost 1300 sq ft of laminate flooring installed throughout our home, at a cost of nearly $13,000. In the beginning, it looked beautiful. However, after time, the joints started separating and the seams were "peaking" causing us to catch the fabric of our socks while walking throughout the house. Carpetland sent out the original installer, who claimed the problems were caused by "excessive moisture" and not their problem. We ever sent a samply to Mannington to see if the laminate itself was defective, but that tested OK. Then Carpetland suggested an independent evaluation to be set up thru Mannington - we they sent a Floor Inspector who took pictures, measured for moisture levels, etc. That gentleman indicated that moisture WAS NOT an issue, but that the joint separation and peaking seams could be caused by unleveled/unprepared subfloor, improper expansion, improper glue application and/or no T-moldings used in installation. Since Carpetland USA provided the installation, which they guarantee, we contacted them again to fix the problem. Still no resolution. I would NEVER recommend Carpetland to anyone and we are still fighting with them over this matter.

It has been 3 months since we paid for the wood floors & installation, and the installation still has not been finished!!! Carpetland's sub-contractors are lousy; they lie all the time, so are the sales people. No phone calls have been returned for 4 weeks, although they keep promising that they will call us with the status. We wonder how they have not gotten sued till now???
The staff even lied us about who is the owner and manager of their local store!!! Oweful customer service!!! Would not recommend it to anyone.

Terrible customer service. Ordered carpeting for dining room, great room and hallway. Ripped up old carpeting ourselves to save some $$, only to find out our new carpet was on back order for 1 month. Constant phone calls back and forth to the manager. Sales woman had NO idea what she was doing. We finally worked out a deal, but again, WE the customer were left hanging..

I visited this business and was satisfied with it. I found the service to be a little slow but once waited upon, the service was good. They had alot of different carpet types to pick from and had samples on hand.
